HE DID IT! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT. OUR LITTLE CASANOVA (Sam) SCORED WITH GRACE (by score I mean he was able to sit by Grace without her hissing. Just touching.)
Sam unsuccessfully wooed Grace since he and Joey moved here. But he didn’t give up hope. He kept working on her.

RIP Gordon Johncock. A two time Indianapolis 500 winner, I never liked Johncock although for no reason. Then in 1996, I met him at the track. It was in the garage area, and he was standing by himself. I talked to him for five to ten minutes, and he couldn’t have been nicer.

RIP Dolly Parton. I saw Dolly Parton in 1975 at the Grand Ole Oprey. I had watched her for years on The Porter Waggoner Show. Peerless songwriter and humanitarian. Her imagination library changed lives.
The boys names don’t fit.
Now we have Sam Cooke Hunter (formerly Peyton) & Joey Hunter (formerly Eli). Joey is for Old Testament Joseph. He was known for his coat of many colors & ability to interpret dreams. Joey is known for being adorable. Here’s hoping these names stick.
