The 2016 vote was respected.
We left EU in Jan 2020, transition ended in Dec, new trade relationship in 2021 -and Parliament legislated every step.
Mandate delivered. Case closed.
We’ve moved on - and no vote binds/silences future electorates’ voices. 1975 didn't bind 2016.
This sums up things perfectly 👇.

At 9.15am on Wednesday, Wales fell silent.
Sixty years after #Aberfan , our hearts still ache for the 144 lives lost, including 116 children.
It was a moment of dignity, grief and remembrance. Whatever our politics, we put them aside.
As we should

It is now 37 years ago that the last episode of #Blackadder Goes Forth was screened. This TV gold concluded 3 hrs of unmatched of comedy to many of us. But there was a deeper message throughout encapsulated in this moving final scene.

Hi @IsabelOakeshott the @PrivateEyeNews revealed today you head a UAE company conducting unregistered lobbying activities in UK on behalf of African countries and that it involved British politicians (your husband included). Home Office unaware. Care to comment?
Robbie Williams revealed that a RANDOM WOMAN gave him a HANDJOB in his castle bedroom - and he had NO IDEA who she was.
He woke up to a strange woman standing by his bed and assumed she was the cleaner.
She offered him a handjob. He agreed.
Later, he told the woman running the castle:
“Your cleaner's weird.”
“We don't have cleaners on a Wednesday.”
But it gets even crazier.
THREE YEARS LATER, his guitarist heard the story and immediately recognized her.
“That's Maureen from the pub!”
“She said she did that but nobody believed her!”
Anna Kendrick's reaction is PRICELESS. 💀

From The Telegraph:
Donald Trump has been threatened with “sanctions” by a judge for refusing to co-operate in the defamation case he has brought against the BBC, court papers reveal.
Judge Enjoliqué Lett rapped Mr Trump on Friday over his lack of co-operation with the court during the discovery process, when each side can compel the other to provide relevant evidence.
The BBC’s lawyers filed five separate motions seeking the US president’s compliance and claimed Mr Trump was having to be dragged “kicking and screaming” to co-operate.
According to the latest filings, submitted on Friday by Judge Lett, “the court has admonished the plaintiff for his lack of participation to no avail”.
“The court expects strict compliance,” he added, “the failure of which will lead to sanctions.” Legal experts warned the president could face having his suit dismissed in the most extreme case.
“Potential sanctions in civil litigation might include award of attorney’s fees and costs and even the dismissal of the plaintiff’s lawsuit,” Jason Sullivan, a lawyer, said.
Dmitry Bam, a professor at the University of Maine Law School, said sanctions could be escalated if Mr Trump continued his defiance.
“That could again include attorney’s fees, fines, treating certain facts as presumed established against Trump, all the way up to dismissing the case. Most judges would only take that last step as a matter of last resort.
“Beyond the case, the court could hold Trump in contempt for violating a discovery order. Even the President must follow ordinary civil procedure rules,” Prof Bam added.
