FINALLY revamped my portfolio site thanks to the ever talented and amazing @trebendesigns! If you’re looking for a versatile entertainment journalist, I’m ready and available! griffinschiller.com/
Would be cool if the MCU would stop undercutting Sam's legitimacy as Captain America. Why does he have to keep proving himself? Why is that his sole character trait? Stuff like this is just cowardly. It's like, YOU don't even fully believe it.
That makes sense. Shame. It felt like the family stuff was going to play a bigger part in the beginning, only for it never to resurface. Would've added a lot more to Matt's characterization and unhealthy desire for external validation.
Aaron Paul was meant to play Matt Hagen's abusive father in ‘CLAYFACE’.
His very brief cameo was the last trace of a full set of flashbacks shot for the film before all being cut.

Sandra Hüller will star in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’.

Low key...DJ had the right idea bringing his WWE sensibilities to capeshit. Like Nic Cage said recently, barring some exceptions, this is 100% what the genre has become.

Ridiculous!
I'm so tired of opinion authoritarians pushing everyone towards group think. Group think is a bad thing.
Stop policing other people's opinions and gain some curiosity.
Replying to @kirkneverdied
You liked SUPERMAN (2025) & SUPERGIRL (2026).
Your taste in movies is shit, pal. You have no business reviewing movies for a living.
Josh O'Connor?!

Sucks to see @variety using @ThePlaylistNews quote without bothering to link to either the podcast (the episode isn't even out yet, mind you) or the original article.

I see people are being COMPLETELY normal about my reaction. Truly a cesspool of intolerance on this platform.
Man, #Clayface will go down as the most frustrating film of the year. Frequently (maybe accidentally) brushes up against GENUINELY compelling ideas of societal expectations, repressed identity, queerness in media, gender dysphoria, visibility through art, only to be ignored or arrive at the least interesting version of itself. Everything is as superficial as Hagen's career.
You can FEEL Flanagan's more esoteric examination of personhood trying hard to burst out of the confines of what's otherwise a campy B-monster movie, and man, does it suck to see. No idea why they didn't wait for him; it feels like an unforced error.
A technically impressive film with some seriously GNARLY special effects, actors making a meal out of scraps, only to be let down by...the (rewritten) script, resulting in a tonally confused, albeit interesting and at times enjoyable, misfire that perhaps exposes Gunn's limitations as the head of the studio.

Tbf...he's been saying this for years...but if it's true this time, hell yeah.
Peter Jackson says ‘TINTIN 2’ will be the next film he directs.
He has just completed the script.

Just to be clear, I am not leaving The Batman Part II. I am profoundly grateful to Steven for coming to my aid during this challenging time to help me finish principal photography. Thank you to all for your concern and well wishes. 🦇
Soderbergh always has director's backs. So cool and classy of him to do this. Truly one of the biggest champions in the business.
Steven Soderbergh is coming on to help finish principal photography the final weeks of DC Studios’ and Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman Part II.’
The news comes after production was paused on the film so that Reeves could attend to a family matter.
