Plymouth Argyle vs Alvechurch: Safety/Logistics Information
HOME PARK:
Home Park is an all-seater stadium regulated under the Safety at Sports Ground Act. As Plymouth play EFL regulated football, there is no provision for the consumption of alcohol in view of the pitch. While alcohol will be on sale, supporters will be unable to take it to their seat. Stewards will be on hand to ensure that fans are reminded on the day.
There are two fan zones in operation. The away fan zone will be located outside the away end in the Barn Park End of the ground. This will be our supporter's designated drinking and eating area.
There will be a drug/pyro dog working on the day, any supporters found to have illegal substances or Pyrotechnics will not be permitted entry into the ground and may be arrested.
COACHES:
Coach parking will be located at Harpers Soccer Centre. It is illegal for supporters to consume alcohol on the coach for regulated football. Coaches may be searched on arrival to ensure compliance.
PITCH INCURSIONS AND ENCROACHMENT:
If there is a pitch incursion during, or after the game the safety team will deploy the pitch incursion team. Fans should be advised that it is a criminal offence to enter the field of play and any encroachment could result in a football banning order.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

🚨BREAKING: Mohamed Abotaka, who police believe to be a Syrian migrant, has been charged with murder after a body was discovered stuffed inside a wheelie bin in Plymouth
[@SkyNews]
When will they realise this? Our country is being dragged into the dark ages.
A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a wheelie bin.
Mohamed Abotaka, who police believe to be from Syria, but they don't know, has been charged with murder after the body of Ali Barzai was discovered in a side alley in Plymouth on Wednesday.
The police say think Mr Barzai is from North Africa, but don't know that either.
Absolute state of "Modern Britain"!

A farm which runs an egg honesty box in Maynooth in Co. Kildare, have taken to social media to upload a video of thieves taking a number of trays of eggs without paying for them.
Dunne's Farm Pastured Eggs took to social media to make people aware of the thieves and post said the following:
"This week on
“People pretending to be honest”
"2 more vermin who have been hitting us quite regularly. But this time we have the proof.
"We know you live in Clonee and only we are to busy to call and on you and collect either the money or claim the produce back…..
"I bet your husband will be mortified when he sees this🤭
"We think ah good shaming is in order!
"In fact the daughters egg carrying ability is worthy of a job!
We would be thankful if you shared so we could get a name for these two.
"They aren’t welcome back at Dunne’s farm and be sure to remind them if you see them🕵️
"For the record…
When we post these videos,
"We’re not looking for pity, sympathy or anything of the sort.
"We run a farm, we work hard, and unfortunately there will always be a certain type of people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to take what doesn’t belong to them.
"We just happen to believe that in a fair and honest world, dishonest behaviour should have consequences — and sometimes a little public embarrassment is one of them".
