I'm the Grumpy Veteran, and I approve this message! Quit letting "influencers" marketing firms, and algorithms tell you who you're supposed to be.
QUIT YOUR BITCHING!!!!!! Grandpa didn’t have a $90 month internet bill, a $130 phone bill, seven app subscriptions at $72 month, an Amazon addiction for $200 month, he didn’t have Netflix, Paramount or HBO for another $112 month and his haircuts didn’t need a β€˜stylist’! I’m worn out hearing people moan, β€œOur grandparents could buy a house on one paycheck, but now we can’t even afford rent on two!” Yeah, maybe because Grandma wasn’t dropping half her income on $14 iced lattes and avocado toast shaped like art projects. Back then, if they wanted coffee, they boiled it at home in a dented pot. It tasted like burnt rubber and regret β€” but it woke you up and cleaned your pipes. And Grandma wasn’t β€œout to brunch.” You think she had time for mimosas and hashtags? She was making something called whatever’s left in the fridge and feeding six people with it. Don’t even start with Uber Eats. You think Grandpa was out here paying $38 to have a burger delivered three blocks away? Please. He grilled mystery meat on a rusted barbecue, and everyone called it dinner. Now people cry about being broke while sitting in a house full of gadgets. Two SUVs in the driveway, six streaming services, three air fryers, and matching tattoos that cost more than their light bill. You think Grandpa had a tattoo? He did. It said β€œKorea, 1951,” and it came with trauma, not Instagram likes. And the kidsβ€”Lord help us. β€œWe can’t make ends meet, but Brayden needs the new iPhone!” No, he doesn’t. You’re handing an $1100 device to a child who still eats crayons and forgets to flush. When we were kids, there was one phone. It hung on the wall like a family relic. The cord stretched just far enough for you to whisper secrets before someone yelled, β€œGet off, I need to make a call!” And guess what? We lived. The TV? One. In the living room. With three channels and a dial that clicked like a safe. And if Dad wanted to watch bowling, you were a fan of bowling, end of story. Now there’s a flat screen in every room, the baby’s got an iPad, the dog’s got a camera, and everyone’s wondering why they can’t afford rent. Because you’re living like rock stars on retail salaries, that’s why. Grandpa wasn’t leasing Teslas or buying $12 smoothies called β€œGreen Zen Awakening.” He drove a truck that coughed smoke, rattled like a storm, and smelled like oil and hard work. They lived within their means. Whatever Grandpa brought home on Friday β€” that’s what they had. They weren’t keeping up with the Joneses; they were keeping the lights on. So yeah, Grandpa bought a house on one salary. But he also didn’t have a gym membership, three delivery apps, and emotional support crystals on his nightstand. His only support system was Grandma, who told him to quit whining and mow the yard. Nowadays, everyone’s broke, anxious, and β€œmanifesting abundance” while ordering tacos on DoorDash for the fourth time this week. It’s not the economy β€” it’s the lifestyle. Wake up, turn off your subscriptions, make your own coffee, and maybeβ€”just maybeβ€”you’ll smell the truth.

I'll say it. I hate this guy, and I hated Obamacare, but the fact that nobody has tried to undo or fix this shit in almost 20 years needs to be addressed. I hear a lot of talking, but no fixing.
My Medicare Advantage plan is no longer offered by Blue Cross. It's replacement is over $100 more monthly. Combined with Medicare Part B, I will be making a what amounts to a car payment every month for Medicare supplements........all because of this bastard

I remember saying that shoutouts and post interactions would come to a screeching halt once X labeled it as engagement farming. I also remember saying that people only give a shit when it benefits them. Not me. My grumpy ass tries to RT, comment and reply. Let's keep growing!

Is everybody getting flooded with bullshit posts where people are trying to get Grok to confirm their bullshit post or make a nude photo?

Good thing Mrs Grumpy decided to put the Christmas tree up. I was not about to have my Thanksgiving dinner on Halloween without it. That would have screwed up all my plans for New Year's Eve next weekend.

Good morning fuckers. If you're up this early, ya better be getting your coffee on, like me. No Halloween post this morning. Tell ya what? Why don't y'all tell me your favorite scary movie? Ol Grumpy is tired and I'm in need of a few days of rest. Hooah!

There's just something about the look and feel of Halloween. The orange and black combination of colors, drizzled with green and purple. Skeletons, ghosts, and other frightening figures slinking and stirring through the cold night. Any of you fuckers feel the same way?

Good morning fuckers. I would ask if y'all missed me the past couple of days, but I know better than to believe that shit. Anyhow, here's today's entry, and I'm kind of on the fence about this franchise. The 1st one was intense, and so was the 2013.. the others? Whatcha think?

Good morning fuckers. I've been busy with the Grandbaby Grumps this weekend, so not a lot of posting going on. Today, I'm offering up Art the Clown (aka Terrifier) and a lot of people seem divided on whether the movies are any good or not. Personally, I get a big laugh out of em.

October 23, 1983. A date forever etched in the hearts of United States Marines. Forty-three years ago, a terrorist drove a truck loaded with explosives into the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 241 American service members, including 220 Marines, 18 sailors, and 3 soldiers. They were sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and friends. Young Americans who had answered their country’s call, never knowing they would never see home again. For those of us who have worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, Beirut is not just another tragic event in American history. Those were our brothers. We may never have met them, but we share a bond that neither time nor death can break. Forty-three years have passed. Families have grown older, children have grown up without their fathers, and parents have gone to their graves still mourning their sons. But I promise you one thing. The United States Marine Corps has not forgotten them, and we never will. Rest peacefully, brothers. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. Semper Fidelis. Always Faithful.
