What just happened?
At 2:30 PM ET today, CBS News reported that President Trump was considering "boots on the ground" in Iran.
Then, at 3:43 PM ET, President Trump said, "I don't want to have a ceasefire with Iran," with the S&P 500 hitting a new low of 2026.
Exactly 90 minutes later, at 5:13 PM ET, President Trump said that the United States is "considering ending" the war with Iran.
Between the comments made at 3:43 PM ET and 5:13 PM ET, the S&P 500 had already risen nearly +1% on the news.
At 6:15 PM ET, the S&P 500 had rebounded +1.8% from its low, adding $900 BILLION in market capitalization.
The markets are now closed until Monday.
The bull case for $HIMS assumes patients will pay a premium for convenience. Some will. But assuming most people will ignore cheaper alternatives is underestimating the consumer.
$HIMS did not gain a pricing advantage. It gained a narrative advantage. The reported deal with $NVO points to Novo’s reduced self-pay pricing, not some exclusive discount below market.
Meanwhile, TrumpRx.gov is already listing Ozempic from $199 for the first two fills, then $349/$499 depending on dosage. And $HIMS does not even accept insurance.
So if a patient already has coverage or already has a cheaper path, $HIMS is not competing on price. It is competing on convenience.
For eligible beneficiaries, Medicare GLP-1 Bridge starts in July 2026 with a $50 monthly copay.
Why pay an extra subscription for $HIMS if you can get the same medication for less?
Consumers are not stupid.

All it's about how you present the results. $BOF - BranchOut Food Inc. sales grew by 640%, but in reality net income only decreased its loss by 18% and the value of the stock multiplied by 600%. We continue buying shares of companies without the corresponding Due Diligence. #DayTrading
#elmundoalreves
