Coming to Sri Lanka for RareWeek? 🇱🇰 A few of you asked for recommendations, so I put together a little guide covering beaches, surfing, restaurants, nightlife, wildlife safaris, and places worth exploring.

5/6 - A Few Practical Tips
- Most of the places accept cards, but carry some Sri Lankan rupees for smaller shops and tuk-tuks.
- Download Uber and @PickMeLK (local ride hailing app) for cars and tuk-tuks.
- For longer trips, hire a car with a driver. Safest and most comfortable way to travel
- Always check sea conditions before swimming.
- Police emergency: 119
Sri Lanka is a pretty special place, and I’m excited for everyone coming down for RareWeek to experience it.

The RareSkills AI Tutor tracks your progress by the number of questions answered, not the amount of content consumed.
It's hard to answer hundreds of questions and still not understand the subject.
It's (unfortunately) very easy to watch hours of videos yet learn very little.
The AI Tutor does include videos! But they aren't core to the learning experience.
It's the best way to learn ZK!

Imagine learning a ZK Proof algorithm end-to-end in less than 30 hours of study.

For anyone starting to study ZK, I still believe Pinocchio/Groth16 is the best place to start. You need some background, but finite fields and elliptic curve cryptography are already familiar territory for much of the Web3 community.
Groth16 is non-interactive, so it doesn't need Fiat–Shamir. It doesn't need commitment schemes either. And the core idea isn't that complicated, especially if you learn Pinocchio first.
Some people think Groth16 is outdated. I disagree. Even if it is, I think it provides a solid foundation for understanding what a SNARK is, and, just as importantly, why we need to go beyond Groth16.
