I think what makes this story more depressing & alarming than him being an “American Idol alum” is that Caleb Flynn was a worship pastor.
And despite having a wife & two children, something many men long for, Flynn decided he wanted more than what God gave him.
He started having an affair with a woman at his church. Text messages show that they became obsessed with each other, & Flynn began to despise his wife.
But despite hating his wife, Flynn refused to divorce her because he didn’t want to lose his kids, his reputation, nor his job (his father-in-law gave him a job working for him). But his affair partner would not keep seeing him unless they divorced, so he decided to murder his wife.
It’s a devastating reminder of what sin takes from us. Caleb went from lust, to betrayal, to adultery, to murder.
And now his wife is dead. His children are without both parents. His affair partner has been exposed and her life is ruined. And of course, Caleb ruined his own life.

These are very offences caught on cameras.
London boroughs generated over £1 billion from fines in a year.

Police arrest 32-year-old Abraham Awendok over alleged murder of Dr Jesse Amuah and wife Elizabeth Esi Amuah
The Accra couple were last reported seen around 23 March 2026. A missing-persons complaint was filed on 22 April. Police later recovered their remains.
Investigators say Awendok, who worked as their errand boy, killed them, took their phones, money and vehicle, and fled to Dubai.
He was declared wanted through an Interpol Red Notice and deported to Ghana on 30 August 2026.
