Pumpfun is a scourge on the entire crypto industry and as the LA Vape Cabal implodes it will give oxygen for a new, probably more evil, cabal to take shape.
But we can fight back. Pumpfun is losing the PR battle.
We need to have higher standards. More toxic maximalism. More public shaming and ostracizing.
Becasue there is another Cabal that will take over the industry that will end it for good.
Hedge Funds.
If they fully take over it's all done.
We have time but it's running out.
The way forward is a renewed focus on decentralization. It's the only way to break the current Cabal Industrial Complex.

Identity is a complex problem to solve and it has to be uttermost, human-centric, not solely state-centric.
An excellent book about identity and looking towards the right direction, was written a couple of years ago by @iang_fc - and it's free:

In total agreement with @jaromil that reliance on TEEs put an unacceptable level of trust in Google and Apple not to surveil or support the surveillance of citizens
I’m not up to date on eIDAS, but last time I looked at it, there were some shocking vulnerabilities, in particular article 45, which legislated that web browsers have to trust the certificate authorities and cryptographic keys selected by EU governments.
Overall, I’d say it’s hard enough building a completely private identity system even when privacy is your primary goal, but building one when your commitment to privacy is dubious is even more unlikely
(and given the EU’s recent attempts to ban end-to-end encryption, I would argue their commitment is shaky to say the least)
