As Israel's genocide continues across Palestine, the @mayorofhackney must show leadership and allow a vote in full council to end our borough's twinning with Haifa and to divest the pension fund from complicit companies.
Overnight, Israeli forces continued its mass abduction campaign in Tulkarm, north of the occupied West Bank, capturing anyone they encountered during their assault on the city.
In just a few hours, more than 1,500 people were taken hostage and herded in a humiliating manner into a library that the army had seized and turned into a detention camp.
They were not interrogated, as that was never the goal. Instead, they were subjected to abuse, insults, and humiliation before some were later released.
