The sky is dark because it’s not asymptomatically Ricci-flat, which means it loses dimensions if we go far far away in any direction. This also means there are not enough stars there to light our 3+1 sky, thus it’s dark!

We believe access to capable open-source cyber models is our constitutional right as Americans under the 2nd Amendment.
It is our duty as technologists and patriots to help protect the digital infrastructure that powers the world's largest economy.
As such, we’re serving our cyber models “at-cost”, in US data centers only, with ZDR enabled by default.
We do not plan to make money serving these models.
If you run a company that is considering how to best protect against cybercrime, reach out to me or @atbeme. We’d be happy to advise.

deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017-cyber is now available on @inference_net.
This is the first of several highly capable cyber models we'll release over the coming weeks.
We believe it is our duty as technologists to help people protect themselves and their digital properties from the current onslaught of cybercrime ravaging much of the world.

The periodic table of mathematics has just been proven by machine
Replying to @axiommathai
Finite simple groups are building blocks of finite groups, like primes are for whole numbers.
The “Enormous Theorem” states that every finite simple group belongs to one of the known infinite families or is one of 26 sporadic groups, including the Monster.
There are no others.

The largest math proof in human history is now computer-verified.
Today, Axiom announces a complete Lean auto-formalization of the Classification of Finite Simple Groups, the "periodic table of symmetry."
About 15,000 pages, built by over 100 mathematicians across generations.

For those who don’t know, ETH is the hypothesis that 3SAT needs exponential time. Very surprising and consequential that it is false.

An internal model at OpenAI has produced a claimed refutation of ETH! Russell Impagliazzo, Mohan Paturi, and I have been asked to help organize an open and independent examination of this claim. 1/4

The Exponential Time Hypothesis is false.
Quoting:
'Our models produced a natural language proof for Yang–Mills existence on September 9th, 2026, and then subsequently produced a proof for QCD on September 18th, 2026. Given the length and complexity of the work, we postponed release until the Lean formalization completed. We finished our formalization of Yang–Mills’ existence on October 16th, 2026, which led us to develop the collaboration described here.'

🚨Brilliant interview!

🚨How do banks create money ?
💸💰💸💰💸💰💸
🚨Prof Werner is incomparable.
In the 5000 yr history of banking no-one has ever done an imperical study of banking to show where the money comes from- until now. Step up the rock star economist Professor Richard Werner. His amazing qualifications and held positions makes the eye water. He is truly the authority on this subject. Banks are thought of as deposit taking entities who lend money - but that is just wrong. His assessment - Banks dont lend money but they misrepresent (lie) to their customers and say that they do.
Let’s go!
At @lanyon_ai, we’re completing Hilbert’s (other) dream.
From November 1st, we’re rolling out pre-release versions of Lanyon to early customers and testers, and will be hosting simultaneous public demos of Lanyon capabilities in San Francisco and Chicago.
From moon bases to modular reactors to atomic-scale programmable matter, we're on a mission to make the abstract concrete, to make the digital physical, and to formally verify reality. Join us!
I continue repeating these until people get it! Your brain and your universe are deterministic.
Replying to @skdh
- deterministic brain != no responsibility, as explained the brain is still responsible for its outcome.
- a deterministic system can be chaotic, which brain is. a simple example is a hash function.
- deterministic universe != block universe, since the Computational irreducibility prevents finding the initial conditions. a simple example is again the hash function.
spreading free-market and competition to all corners of the planet. I love it.
I did not know there was a big AI scene in Kazakhstan. Apparently Higgsfield's entire engineering team is in Kazakhstan and NVIDIA just invested in them.
Jensen just visited too (his first time there).
Seems like Kazakhstan is really positioning itself as a regional AI and supercomputing hub. Very interesting. Will probably work out very well for the region commercially.
The order of all this is interesting. Most countries first build data centers and hope the startups show up. Here the talent was already in place, quietly building one of the fastest growing AI startups, and now the GPUs are following the engineers.
Their biggest telecom runs 880 NVIDIA GPUs today. A new deal adds 45,000 by 2027.

While AI is surely accelerating finding human created security issues, it is a temporary problem, and most open source project leads have already figured out how to also use AI to reduce new bugs moving forward.
Here is a graph from GKH (who maintains the stable kernel) on how many CVEs they are remediating per release:

This graph describes how much better each release is now getting:

This doom based marketing approach that the AI labs are pushing is really short sighted. While this will of course drive business to us, I find it unethical to distort the truth and use scare tactics in messaging.
The greater truth is that AI is making the software industry more secure, by identifying the human errors in code, and soon we will end up in a much better place.
🚨Sam Altman says the internet can no longer be SECURED by patching bugs.
"I no longer think we're going to be able to just patch all the bugs," the OpenAI CEO said, warning smarter models can find "hardware level insane stuff."
He says OpenAI can't responsibly open source its best model "anytime soon," but the open source world isn't far behind: "Not super."
