I also spent a large chunk of the day doing Mad Libs with my 9 year old to practice parts of speech and having entirely too much fun.
And I got my work done from home, and caught up a little on housework.
Posted a snake picture on Reddit and have 600+ upvotes so far, which is probably the highest engagement I've ever gotten on anything on the internet in my entire life by far and now I feel like I can do anything!
With animal stuff, I'm afraid my husbandry will be questioned, and Reddit can be a tough crowd. I did have someone point out an issue they thought they saw, and I handled it with grace and we discussed it together and it was very positive.
My periods have usually been late when I've been sick due to stress, but since COVID, they're like, "Oh, Bronchitis is here too? Guess I'll show up 6 days early for the party!" So now I get double the fun.
My snake hasn't come out of her hide in 3 days but got super active all of a sudden when my toddler was watching Pinky and the Brain. So it's feeding time!
I had to "alter" these new jeans because my feet are too big and I couldn't get them over my heel. I should probably stitch it up nicely with some elastic but I won't because this works and I like my jeans to look like I've been fighting wild mongeese anyways.
My 9 year old just referred to @DannyDeVito as "the guy from the sandwich ad". I think it's time for a movie marathon to correct this grievance.
Driving to my hotel, passing Baltic Avenue, then Pacific Avenue, and then there's Atlantic Avenue, and I'm realizing that life is just one big game of Monopoly and none of us really understand the rules or want to play anymore.
#whymytoddleriscrying because I won't give her $50 and take her to Target.
Just me, standing at the stove frying chicken wings while my husband is walking around the room on stilts, and then our four year old stands up on the table and randomly shouts out the words "Lavender Haze!" and I'm really not sure what's going on in life anymore.
I was not prepared for Thanksgiving today. I planned to shop yesterday but had a weird allergic reaction to something and spent most of the day hopped up on Benadryl trying not to scratch my skin off.
I had a small meltdown this morning but things are back on track!
I roasted our Halloween pumpkins this morning and got my pie made. Sides are prepped and ready to reheat. Tiny birds are taking a bath in an orange juice and black garlic marinade, and then I need to get started on braised short ribs.
