My objective is to lead with integrity, uphold our collective dignity, protect the practice of advocates and advocate for the welfare of in house counsels.
Nairobi County (formerly City Council) block exposes a broken system where nothing moves without facilitation.
Advocates pay to join panels, access files, and share fees 50:50. The consent committee is worse
Now they blame the community for collapsed buildings.

You were created with dignity.
A mind that reasons.
A soul that reaches.
A voice that can choose.
Allah gave you bayan, the ability to understand, to express and to carry the weight of meaning.
But not everyone lives like that matters.
Asante sana

I endorse Ms. Halima. Please vote for her.
Greetings to all colleagues and friends @LawSocietyofKe.
Counsel Halima Abdullahi Ali fits the bill: she's amiable, cares deeply about our society and she is embedded in the practise of law as an astute practioneer.
I unreservedly endorse her and i plead that we all support her.

The Law Society of Kenya risks being just a glossy club where ambitious lawyers collect initials for CVs, promising the moon during campaigns, yet abandoning grassroots advocates once elected. Encroachment laws, directly affecting advocates’ practice, sail through Parliament drafted by the State Law Office, while “public interest” litigants from Omtata to Nakuru enjoy courts’ indulgence. History reminds us robust legal bodies like the English Bar Council or US ABA fiercely defend members’ interests. LSK must urgently reclaim its mandate, champion advocacy rights, regulate opportunistic litigants, and ensure political neutrality in legal protection.

My vote for Nairobi Representatives to the LSK Council: Wyclklife Odhiambo Oyoo; Halima Ali Abdullahi; and Nick Omari. And I have not been given alcohol, food, miraa or money to arrive at that informed decision.
The Young Bar Association,
A profession survives when its youngest members believe in its future.
As we near the LSK elections, I ask for your vote for Halima Ali — Nairobi Representative.
