Knowing that God has come through for me over and over again in the past, helps me to trust him with my present and future. Even though I may not know what He is doing right now, I know what He has done before. He is good. He does good. He is faithful. He is trustworthy.

If we in Christ don’t bow to the ever-accumulating opportunities for bitterness, the gift of age is awe. Awe that God is so much better than it seems to us He has to be. Awe that He doesn’t just save us but delights in us. Awe that we’ve never had what it took to run Him off.

Think what God has brought us through. Think how certain we were we wouldn’t make it. Think how He used that season to increase our faith & how we went from believing Jesus was present & all-powerful to KNOWING He was.Shall He who made a way for us then not make a way for us now?

Like GPS, God knows the traffic jams ahead. He knows the road closures and the accidents blocking the way. So he reroutes us the way he knows is best for us. Instead of letting us take a misguided shortcut, he leads us little by little, step by step, the long way around.

Trust God’s process with you. Some things you won’t understand for decades. Other things will wait til you see His face but this I promise you based on the authority of His immutable Word: He loves you, He sees You, He’s gifted you & He will be faithful to you. And yes He knows.
