Why did the flight manifest list Flavio Bolsonaro as an Italian National and not Brazilian meaning that he just immigrated to the United States with falsified documents. Where is ICE ? Didn’t Ron DeSantis say that Florida wouldn’t become a Sanctuary State. Maralago bound.

How does someone that spoke with such certainty, whilst being so wrong, get promoted at WHO to take Mike Ryan’s role as Director Epidemic and Pandemic Management/WHO Health Emergencies Programme?
Millions died thinking they were following sound advice in order to minimise their risk.
It takes a profound lack of insight into the role she played in WHO’s farcical response to COVID-19, and also a pathological degree of narcissistic self belief to have the gall to never acknowledge the harm caused, to never offer an apology, and yet continue to try and lead the world’s response to the threat of coronaviruses.
. @WHO invites public comment on the draft monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) framework accompanying its Strategic plan for coronavirus disease threat management, covering #COVID19, #MERS and novel coronavirus diseases.

Many people didn't see that Russia was attacking our data and cyberspace over a long period of time. Then we found a way to weaken Russia's strategy, to respond to their attacks on data. We are different here. Ukraine is more technologically advanced. The Russians attacked our data centers so many times, and still we had cell service and an Internet connection. Because we are digitally decentralized and advanced. Our responses are more painful for Russia because they are more centralized. They have a different strategy. Because they have a lot of air defense assets, they are simply defending what they have. We don’t have too much air defense – we have a shortage. That is why we decentralized everything, not only data. But we always try to respond and do so only after Russian attacks against us.

BREAKING: Texas Republicans announce they will “Pass on Paxton”:
“I truly believe that he is the most corrupt politician Texas has ever seen.”
“To send Ken Paxton to the United States Senate is adding another gator to the swamp.”
“James Talarico is by far — without a doubt — the best person in the race for the US Senate.”

Get your flu vaccine NOW if you haven’t already. 👇
This flu season started early, and the main strain has changed
This year, flu arrived early, starting on the West Coast about two and a half months ahead of schedule. National activity is still low but climbing, and on the West Coast the share of positive flu tests reached 10.7% in the week ending October 10, compared with 0.5% a year earlier. The CDC’s latest update shows the flu hospitalization rate is at its highest level for this time of year since the 2009-10 pandemic season, though it’s still low overall.
“Flu also lacks the novelty that draws attention to an emerging threat or a disease we thought we’d eliminated. Conveying the urgency of a familiar threat without exaggerating anyone’s individual risk is hard.” cidrap.umn.edu/influenza-gen…

Not criticizing Ally for saying this, but it's important to keep in mind that: those in MAGA who discover that Trump has done all of these have been genuinely surprised, because the news and information sources they consume didn't tell them that Trump would do all of these. MAGA is rife with mis- and dis-information -- more so than any other group.

Exactly what Trump is gonna claim (already started claiming before voting began), if the midterm election doesn't turn out the way he wants. But of course, if his side wins, he'll defend the election as free and fair, with accurate results. Can't have it both ways, Donnie.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party claims the election was “stolen” by Arab parties and is calling on police to investigate alleged voter fraud.
With 93% of the vote counted, Netanyahu’s bloc has 53 seats, well short of the 61 needed to form a government, down from the 68 seats his coalition held before the election. Arab parties have nearly doubled their representation, jumping from 10 seats to 19.

Imagine reading three Nature papers about SARS-CoV-2 damaging the brain.
“Holy shit. That sounds serious.”
Then remembering you were sick last week.
Then remembering you didn’t test.
Then remembering COVID is going around.
Then remembering SARS-CoV-2 causes COVID.
Then remembering COVID is what we used to test for.
And then realizing that not testing for COVID doesn’t actually prevent you from getting COVID.
What an incredible time to be alive.
