Uganda:
Frame 1: Justine Kasule Lumumba (53), the cabinet minister of ICT & National Guidance.
She has a bachelor of Arts and a diploma in Education.
Frame 2: Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo (76), the state minister in charge of ICT.
She has a certificate in secretarial services.
Frame 3: Alioni Yorke Odria the state minister in charge of National Guidance.
He has a master's degree in human resource management and a bachelor of commerce.
Rwanda:
Frame 4: (1) Paula Ingabire(43) is the minister of ICT & Innovation
She has a master of science in system design and management from Massachusetts Institute of technology and a bachelor of science in computer engineering and information technology.
(2) Yves Iradukunda (35) is the minister of state for ICT.
Has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science.
This is not meant to imply that Rwanda is doing better than Uganda in ICT, because that would call for a deeper study into the performance of the two ministries, the overall infrastructure and the impact on the citizens.
But this is to question why in Uganda, technical ministries like ICT can't have technical people to head them technically, politically and adminisratively?
Look at the age difference too.
If we don't wake up, a country as small as Rwanda will soon overtake us in very many aspects because we prioritize politics over performance and delivery 🙌

NEW: Florida police release a statement after a family claims that police were called on their 3-year-old son because he was "too good" at soccer.
Video footage shows a 3-year-old soccer prodigy dominating a group of 5-year-olds in Winter Park, Florida.
"They called the police on a three-year-old because he's too good... because he had the ball for too long and nobody else can get the ball so they called the police on him," the family claimed in the video.
The Winter Park Police Department has since released a statement saying they were called about a "disturbance" between league officials and the player's parents.
"The Winter Park Police Department was contacted by a soccer league official who requested response to a disturbance between league officials and the parents of a player," they said.
"The league requested the family leave and offered to refund the league cost to family. Shortly after arrival, the officers were requested by the league official to communicate with the family as he did not want to further a disturbance."
"The family stated the game was over and they were leaving. The family was cooperative with the officers and were provided with an event number for the incident at their request."
"The incident was a civil matter between those parties and not criminal. No one was arrested, trespassed, or forced to leave the park. The Officers body worn cameras confirm the above information."
