Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

Ppl should not be dunking on the Charleston AI guy for a few reasons (1) Don't belittle entrepreneurs on principle (2) Capitalism works in part bc ppl try different things incl laughable things (3) Normies still don't have any idea what AI can do; maybe the guy is onto something, your local systems integrator (4) Guys like this are the US Mittelstand - this is exactly what your hometown MCD franchisee, Ford dealer, strip mall owner, independent insurance agent, etc. look and sound like
