To the people celebrating the mass murder of Israeli civilians, you have lost your humanity. To the people enthusiastically calling for Israel to decimate Gaza, densely populated with 2 million Palestinian civilians, you have lost your humanity. Israelis and Palestinians are real people, just like you and me.
This is how you know this war is supremely disproportionate. One side doesn’t even control who/what goes in or out of their own borders. The other is a world-class military superpower. Clearly war is not the answer to this struggle.
Gaza, in the words of an ex-Israeli intel chief, is an "open-air prison."

Netanyahu’s strategy to stop the formation of a Palestinian state includes actively propping up Hamas. Why? Because it allows the continuation of an illegal occupation and military siege of Palestinian lives & lands. This is a downward spiral into chaos.
