For the zillionth time, @Netanyahu claims Palestinians "burned babies alive in front of their parents" and for the zillionth time, all Israeli media outlets and fact checking NGOs like @FakeReporter @TalHagin silently support the blood libel that manufactured consent for genocide

I remember when the British PM lied about weapons of mass destruction because he wanted war with Iraq.
Now the British PM has announced he wants to silence (Russian) disinformation. I expect it will be the warmongers doing the lies/disinformation again. 🙄

Europe cut itself off from Russian fuels, switched to more expensive US LNG, then let the yanks use its bases to start a war that compromised global fuel supplies, and may now be about to eat shit for these decisions in the most incredible way
BREAKING: Trump calls for a total ban on US diesel exports, saying "Let's not send out the diesel. We make a lot of diesel," that a decision would come "fast," and that an announcement is expected "very soon."
It would be the first US diesel export ban in history.
Europe stands to be hit hardest, as the US is the world's largest diesel exporter and Europe its biggest customer, buying record volumes since the Gulf barrels stopped, making its worst-ever energy crisis worse. Russia, the second largest exporter, has already halted its own exports.
US diesel is at a record $6.53 a gallon today and 16% of French stations are out of fuel.

🚨Cuba has a sovereign right to choose a Chinese base.
🚨What, what do you say to that?
🚨If you wanna ensure a more peaceful world, understand the red lines of all the great powers.
The United States has got clear red lines.
Russia has got clear red lines.
China has got clear red lines.
India has got clear red lines.
And once you understand where the red lines are, and you don't go near the red lines, then you, then you...
That's how you preserve the peace.
But if you keep saying, "No, my interests matter and yours don't," that's how you end up with wars.

Avi Shlaim, Israeli historian, on an Oxford stage in 2018. Iran has never attacked a neighbor. Israel has attacked several. Iran signed the non-proliferation treaty and lets inspectors in. Israel signed nothing and lets nobody in.
Forty years of disinformation about Iran, he called it. The Israeli diplomat across from him had no answer.
Carney is reading from that campaign. Canada recognized Palestine this month, then calls the only two states actually acting for Palestine the threat.
The Iranian peace proposal opens with one line: Israel leaves the occupied territories.
That's the sentence nobody at the UN wants read out loud. 🎙️

I say this with the utmost seriousness as a scholar of international political economy: the rules-based international order is dead.
At the UN General Assembly, Trump, in very casual language, talks about annihilating another country. The room stays quiet. No collective protest. No formal objection.
And this goes far beyond rhetoric.
The US *has* bombed Iran, in clear violation of international law.
The US *has* kidnapped Venezuela's head of state and is in the process of looting the country's natural resources, in clear violation of international law.
The US *has* tightened its blockade on Cuba, in clear violation of international law.
Then there is, of course, the genocide in Gaza, for which the US has provided unconditional support.
After World War II, the US was one of the primary architects of a system meant to encourage global cooperation. But the US has consistently broken that system's rules to advance its imperial interests.
The system has therefore lost all its legitimacy.

The most sinister and consequential 'information attack' campaign of recent times was the 'antisemitism crisis' smearing war against Corbyn and the left, conducted by the Labour right, the Israel lobby, and the UK political/media estate, in concert.

Our security chiefs ARE the deep fakes...
The most serious example of disinformation in recent times came from within our own state - knowingly lying that Russia had sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines - and was spread unquestionly by mainstream media, as below in the Times (28.9.22).
Why aren't Pippa Crerar and other political correspondents challenging such blatant dissembling? Yet again, they are simply messengers not journalists.
Security chiefs to set up new national centre to tackle disinformation and deepfakes from hostile states like Russia - with Andy Burnham saying government has a duty to “stem the poisonous tide” from damaging British interests.
National Centre for Information Defence will “detect, attribute and disrupt” info attacks by foreign powers by bringing together intelligence agencies, law enforcement & social media companies.
It will boost UK’s defensive capability to combat information warfare and build national resilience by helping communities combat disinfo, preventing “distorted & untrue” narrative about UK.

Want to know something that sounds too crazy to be true?
NATO bombed its own allies' cities for decades. On purpose. To control elections.
This isn't a theory. Italian Prime Minister confirmed it in 1990. Files got declassified. Historians documented the whole thing.
Operation Gladio (sword in Italian)
The setup: After WWII, CIA and MI6 created secret armies across Western Europe. Stay-behind units. Hidden weapons caches. Trained operatives. Italy, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, France.
Official reason: if Soviets invade, these cells resist from inside occupied territory.
That's the cover story. Here's what they actually did:
Piazza Fontana, Milan, 1969. Bomb kills 17 people. Blamed on leftist anarchists. Massive crackdown on the left. Turns out it was neo-fascists working with Italian military intelligence.
This went on for years. The Years of Lead in Italy. Bombings. Assassinations. All blamed on communists. All actually done by right-wing extremists coordinated with intelligence services.
Why? Strategy of tension. Keep people scared. Make them blame the left. Prevent communists from winning elections. Democracy only works when the right people win.
Greece 1967. CIA-backed military coup. Overthrows elected government. Gladio units help coordinate it. Because Greeks were about to vote wrong.
Turkey. Through the 1970s and 80s. Gladio units became the deep state. Assassinations. False flags. Operating independently while Turkey stayed in NATO and everyone pretended not to notice.
1990. Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti stands up in parliament and confirms it all. Shows documents. The network existed. Those operations happened. America and Britain knew the whole time.
Swiss historian Daniele Ganser spent years documenting it. His book "NATO's Secret Armies" lays it all out. Not theory. Facts.
But somehow this never makes it into mainstream history. NATO talks about defending democracy while we have proof they spent decades manipulating elections through terrorism in allied countries.
When I learned they'd been bombing European civilians for 40 years to control politics, I stopped being surprised by anything they do.

I AM NOT, AND WILL NEVER BE, AMONG THOSE LOOKING FOR A PRETEXT FOR WAR BETWEEN NATO AND RUSSIA
I respect that Czech President Petr Pavel, as a former NATO general, would like to fight. I would therefore appreciate it if he respected the fact that I prefer peace.
Czech President Petr Pavel, whom I have always treated with respect and due regard as the head of the sovereign Czech Republic, often tends to comment on my work. This time, he took issue with my position on attempts to provoke a military conflict between NATO and Russia.
I understand that, as a former NATO general, he would like to fight. I expect him to respect my commitment to pursuing peace. Let me therefore repeat once again, so that there can be no doubt:
1️⃣ The West’s military rhetoric and the search for a pretext for a military conflict with Russia are intended to distract from the liberal world’s inability to address basic challenges such as the price and availability of energy and fuel, as well as illegal migration.
2️⃣ As long as I am Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, I will not agree to Slovak soldiers taking part in any military adventure provoked by anyone within NATO.
3️⃣ In the event of an actual armed attack against one or more NATO member states, the relevant Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty provides NATO members with several options for demonstrating solidarity.
