Great to be presenting the brilliant work of BNSSG ICS to address inequalities surrounding vaccination at the @UKHSA National Immunisation conference. Lots of interest in the MMR film ❤️@CaafiHealth @HTBNSSG @SironaCIC @onecaretweets @NorthBristolNHS @uhbwNHS

It’s over.
Any control over Covid we had is over.
Duty doctor today. I’ve lost count of the number of patients I’ve seen with classic Covid symptoms
NOT A SINGLE PERSON has isolated or done a PCR test.
Everyone’s mixing & infecting each other. There is no control. It’s over.

That is a really nice short piece. This is so true... ".. to deliver improvement it is not enough to have a good grasp of how to apply quality improvement approaches and tools. Good relational skills matter just as much, if not more..."
Couldn’t agree more. Learning from local vaccination programmes that will support ICS development in many ways including system collaboration and innovate ways of addressing health inequalities. We can’t just revert back to old ways of working @BNSSG_CCG @HTBNSSG @anniep1961
Shared this super video on vaccination coaching in @NHSDevonCCG with national colleagues. This model should continue beyond vaccination & be used to engage communities in accessing other health & care services/reduce inequalities. #startofsomethingbig m.youtube.com/watch?v=a9fxzw…

I see CQUIN guidance has been published for 22/23 @NHSEngland. Really? We still think financial incentives are the way to improve quality? Seems to run counter to our learning from the last 2 years. How does this square with the establishment of ICS's? england.nhs.uk/wp-content/up…
I love this publication. Think it captures the story of the vaccination centre at @ashtongatestad perfectly. Thank you @WEAHSN

Sadly we have had to transfer 2 more pregnant mothers with Covid to a general hospital this weekend for ventilation and ICU care. Both patients were unvaccinated. It doesn’t have to be this way - please get vaccinated
