Every single document I try to download is returning this message - similar to @HeadingtonNews experience recently? Flakey service.

Can anyone explain what our eco-friendly ever so green Council is doing spending £1.6 MILLION pounds on 26 DIESEL tipper trucks? Surely there has to be a more environmentally friendly option? NOT in alternatives considered... Talk the Talk, walk the walk mycouncil.oxford.gov.uk/ieDe…

Today we mourn the loss of an important democratic right - the call-in by Cllrs when worrying "small" (=medium) dev. is proposed, for proper scrutiny and open decision making. Dicated by authoritarian dictorship of a government many Councils resisted, OCC followed the party line.

Tried to buy a remembrance poppy today, not a single shop even had so much as a box, finally found some in St Andrew's. Gone is the formed poppy yesteryear, now just a flat pressed cheap knock off What have we come to? LEST WE FORGET - WE HAVE

Good day at LP2045, the nonsensical green space policy G1 declared unsound, partly as not flexible enough for building (bad) & as an almost random method of categorising spaces used. REVOLUTION! - The Inspectors told the OCC to discuss changes with us as we had given our time!!!

In the middle of the Local Plan 2045 enquiry, all OCCs papers, agendas, papers & supporting material are completely unavailable for at least 10 hours so far If this is planned it is VERY poor, how are representants supposed to prepare without the material? Have downloaded some.

This may be related to the PHP bug, but they have had many hours already to apply the patch, it is certainly not minutes.

A little late this year, but Happy St Frideswide's Day everybody, too dark to see if the St Andrew's Headington has remembered to fly the Diocesian flag with her device, unforgiveably it has forgotten in recent years @HeadingtonNews One of the few *recognised* female saints

VOI without any warning at all decided to demand a UK licence so I missed an appt as in middle of town - had to walk Bang goes 60% of their users - at least those left might manage the defective brakes, indicators, throttles a bit better A very selective approach to the law

Depressing seeing family homes for rent at Barton Park an ultra low density dev, 2 car parks per house (avg) built as "families need homes" although Health workers here often on contract a more effective use So - OCC pours taxpayer £100 millions in, so landlords can make a profit

Local MP A. Dodds (Lab) voted for the removal of democratic call-in rights, L. Moran (LibDem) against, large numbers of MPs from all parties didn't bother to vote or abstained: votes.parliament.uk/votes/co…

Call-in rights removal for important planning decisions is a catastrophe & Stalinist, but it's worse Seems a Planning Officer can approve ANY in principle dev(/OUT) eg: for 200 houses, then final app goes to ctte where you can argue over the door colour legislation.gov.uk/ukdsi/202…

To clarify this, routine changes to the constitution given in the link in my post: mycouncil.oxford.gov.uk/ieLi… And terrible changes stripping citizens of rights to call-in etc: mycouncil.oxford.gov.uk/ieDe… Which come into effect with national legislation Oct 30th. Obfuscation? OCC:
Removal of call-in of Planning decisions by POs a fundemental attack on democratic rights, and a very necessary part of confirming a development is acceptable to the community: @TheOxfordMail Stalinist, and dangerous, development is forever: mycouncil.oxford.gov.uk/ieLi…

A neat clarification and summary from OCC, basically all democratic rights are stripped from citizens, depending on UK Government removal of UK wide rights on Oct 30th STALINIST: @TheOxfordMail

It is no longer possible for OCC Cllrs to "call-in" decisions which have a major effect on the community for scrutiny to the Planning Committee (only major decisions now) thanks to undemocratic & Stalinist UK Govt mycouncil.oxford.gov.uk/ieLi… Decisions can wreck an area forever!

1/2 60% of VOI rides I report a defect, normally indicators (req as hand sigs are difficult and turn throttle off) but too often brakes, or today, the throttle did not off from full when released, so I nearly hit a car and then nearly fell off, and indicators were crossed over

2/2 So, 60% of VOI are DANGEROUS. Seems it relies on user reports So REVOKE VOI LICENCE until it demonstrates safe practices & an inspection regime is in place Pity, I like VOI, but unacceptable safety means it must be banned until fixed Pay by min. encourages light jumping too
