it's here! and i'm very pleased with it. stream it on bandcamp, or wait a few days for the other platforms. loud-quiet ambient. hearlambeth.bandcamp.com/alb…
i have a new EP in the works, based off some recordings from early 2020 that i never managed to finish. my main gear is still up in the air so i ran it through a feedback mixer. the art is finished, most of the parts i'll need are recorded, i need to sit down and mix it.
new album by @apol0gist out yesterday. wonderful as always. i always appreciate the openness. sorry to others though as i may have grabbed the last cd copy.

making sound again by march maybe?
i'm up to an hour or two of coding/code planning every day right now. my MIDI controller now fully talks to my computer. making a schema to update my GUI neatly without re-calculating the entire screen of data every time i change a parameter.
i wish any of this was vaguely interesting to say anything about, just wanting to say that yes, this is still a thing i do, i'm at 9 full pages of A4 handwritten notes and 350 lines of working code from the last week, it's useful to remind myself that i am achieving something
most of my software is/has been built on these libraries:
pyo for audio: ajaxsoundstudio.com/pyodoc/
python-rtmidi for MIDI control: spotlightkid.github.io/pytho…
evdev for computer keyboard inputs (can handle several different keyboards which is rare): python-evdev.readthedocs.io/…
at this point i've seen so many Coachella lineup memes that seeing a real Coachella poster today confused me, where is the joke, is this an anti-humor meme where the joke is that there is no joke?
music update:
the rack i am building for my equipment is now 6 pieces of wood cut to size
that was about a 5 month turnaround from buying said pieces of wood
i am too slow at this

To everyone striking today and over the next few days; you are the best of us. Your actions will make everyone's lives better and it doesn't matter how many gutless mouth pieces try to say otherwise, you are supported all over this wretched island. Never stop.
it's bandcamp friday!
apparently i released disappimting a year ago this week. was dr joseph weizenbaum of MIT right about the utter banalities of our use of the home computer? find out here! hearlambeth.bandcamp.com/alb…
annual reminder that december is also a month in which music may be listened to and may even be released
not a good sign for mastodon. fedifinder (fedifinder-backup.glitch.me/) indicates that 3 of the ~500 accounts this one is connected to have mastodon accounts on their profile.
