The Heavy Communion

It's with a heavy heart that I must announce that The Heavy Communion won't be continuing forward in its current form. Unfortunately the pressures of full-time work and parenthood have come to a head and I just no longer have the time or energy to continue making website content

Absolutely massive in atmosphere, as funeral doom should be. Slow, bleak and crushingly heavy, a crawling trudge into abyssic damnation ☠️ Convocation - No Dawn For The Caliginous Night 🇫🇮

It's old school death metal. It's from Chile. It's Sadism, they've been kicking since 1988. Need I say more? You know it's going to rip ☠️ Sadism - Obscurans 🇨🇱

Following the footsteps of hallowed names, Cruciamentum conjur skull-crushing death interlaced with doom incantations. Maelstrom monstrosities propelled by cavernous complexities, an absolute belter ☠️ Cruciamentum - Obsidian Refractions 🇬🇧

Massive debut. Hot the melodic sweet spot while still maintaining the crushing heaviness of old school death. Throw in sick song structures, blackened undertones and a touch of occasional dissonance and you've got an absolute ripper ☠️ Dyssebeia - Garden of Stillborn Idols 🇨🇭

Brutal beatdown hardcore death metal, the perfect mix of knuckle dragging and skull crushing. Absolutely no survivors in the pit ☠️ Deliquesce - Cursed With Malevolence 🇦🇺

Primitive black metal from the crypts of Paraguay. Demonic gurgles summon vicious riffs and a thunderous energy, blasphemous to its core ☠️ Ayvu - Hera'yva 🇵🇾

Sick, skull-crushing riffs, hardcore tinged brutality and a transcending atmosphere intertwined, my only complaint? It's not long enough. A sign of very impressive things to come ☠️ Maul - Desecration and Enchantment 🇺🇲

Epic black metal that soars to dizzying heights with grandesque guitar passages and subtle orchestration. Huge 🌬️ Aeon Winds - Night Sky Illumination 🇸🇰

Variegated, batshit crazy brutal death spewed forth with visceral intensity. Crazy elements of free jazz and beyond colour the already gleaming torpedo. An unrelenting unforgiving wild ride from start to end ☠️ Neurectomy - Overwrought 🇺🇲
