700 miles commuting to work by bike by early May this year.
I live 2.5 miles from work.
Taking the long way home pays off mentally & physically & financially.

Found this great compliment on my board at the end of the day yesterday. 🙂😊 Feeling grateful and fortunate.
The bike racks are full 2 days in a row. Love to see it.

I've had this pocket sized Constitution in my desk at work for a long time & love using it in class. Honestly who doesn't carry a pocket Constitution? Before school started today 2 students gave me this cool hardcover edition as a gift. Day & week made! What a cool surprise! 😎
I love spring & the change of seasons, but I miss the solitude & peacefulness of winter & being able to bike over a bridge without eating a bunch of newly hatched bugs 😁
The message in this video from one of my favorite YouTube channels really resonates with me. Try something new. It's definitely challenging, but it can and does breathe new life into how you see the world. youtu.be/jpRf0BX2AzA
This cup of coffee and the friendship that goes along with it has me feeling very fortunate and I'm grateful for both. #gratitude

Introverts keep a low-key profile not because they hate attention, but because they hate energy vampires. They're givers and people sometimes take advantage of that. Sucking their soul dry. Without giving anything in return. They're not rude, they're just protecting their energy.
This. There are no “bad” students, just failed policies put forth by bad leaders. And because of this, we all suffer.
If you’ve taught and experienced losing a student, you know. I wrote this in hopes we never lose a young person again. Originally published in @TheTRiiBE now @EdSurge. There’s only one Chicago mayoral candidate who I trust to address this @Brandon4Chicago
