It's a shame that Mitsuri's stage of the Hashira Training arc goes under-looked for the humor of "oh, boys in girly outfits!" Do you know how positively screwed everyone would be if they didn't practice flexibility? Frankly, her stage should've been the first and longest.

This comes from someone who values proper exercise over forced "strength". Your strength is hollow if you pull a muscle by doing it, that should only happen in a worst-case-scenario. Also, Mitsuri is a lot smarter than people credit her for, and stronger; kindness is not naïvety.
