Harry Kane Ballon d’Or and Arsenal bottling the Carabao Cup. What a 24 hours it’s been

He’s probably the most anonymous footballer I’ve watched in a long time. I come out of most games struggling to remember a single thing he’s done, just zero presence on the pitch

Prem proven recruitment really on full display here.
Solanke looks like he’s running through quicksand, every Marmoush touch risks sending the ball into orbit, and geriatric Robertson hand delivering the opposition a goal.

We’re never going to achieve anything with Conor Gallagher and Mathys Tel playing for this club. It’s the reality. Liverpool’s B team and they still can’t compete. #THFC

I find it very amusing how as soon as a decision goes against a team playing #THFC, the media are so quick to make it the focal point of the weekend.
Yet I don’t remember seeing ANY coverage whatsoever on the blatant penalty on Omar Marmoush last weekend, or the countless times we were robbed last season in a clear attempt to send us down…🤷♂️
Neco Williams literally bundles the ball over the line with his arm. How on earth are people suggesting it’s not a handball. 🤦♂️😅
Forest have every right to be frustrated at VAR Peter Bankes’ intervention and the review of Neco Williams’ goal-line effort against Spurs. It wasn’t a clear and obvious mistake by ref Craig Pawson. PL match centre declared that “VAR checked the referee's call of goal to Nottingham Forest and determined that Williams handled the ball immediately before scoring and recommended that the goal was disallowed”. Yet even after repeated viewings it’s hard to tell whether it was handball or not. So not a clear and obvious error. Goal should have stood.
ProRef, the artists formally known as PGMOL, promised at the start of the season that VAR would be more light touch, more in keeping with the original intention of intervening only when a clear and obvious error. Largely, so far this season, officials have kept to that “minimal interference, maximum benefit” mantra. Consistency of application was always the concern - as highlighted at the City Ground. #NFOTOT
Nusa, Abde, Schjelderup, Fofana, Jesus Rodriguez… nah we’ll have Mudryk

Are we means testing public sector pensions as part of this review? We should be. Inflation linked pensions for those in the public sector are ultimately driving up the debt levels of the country.

Following checks from the medical team, Maddison could be out for a while. It’s a bad injury. Not sure of the exact timeframe yet. #THFC
