We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

You can now turn a single photo into a fully explorable 3D world Microsoft open-sourced TRELLIS, an AI model that generates detailed 3D objects from ordinary images → Turns 2D images into 3D assets → Generates textured meshes and 3D representations → Useful for game development, animation and AR/VR → Runs locally with a compatible NVIDIA GPU → Free and open-source Get started in 3 steps: * Clone: git clone github.com/microsoft/TRELLIS * Install: Follow the README to set up dependencies and model weights * Generate: Launch the demo and upload an image What used to take hours of 3D modeling can now start with a single photo Repo: github.com/microsoft/TRELLIS

If you want to learn how anatomy works without reading the full documentation, go check this video 👇
An LRU cache becomes a bookcase. A rocket engine comes apart on hover. Anatomy is an open-source Claude Code skill that turns technical concepts into interactive machines. We tested it.

I just solved "Robotics Engineering" education with Opus 5.5 + /colorfigures skill no need to spend $1000+ on a starter kit to learn what a resistor does, just visit my interactive site: • 13 real boards: Arduino Uno, L298N, Raspberry Pi 5... • build part by part: pick & place, reflow, solder, plug in • break them on purpose: reversed caps pop, chips smoke, LEDs burn out send the skill to your Claude: > april-zhu.com/colorfigures try it free, no sign-up ↓

Claude Security now keeps up with your code as it changes. Connect your repositories once. Claude runs a deep first scan, then re-scans as changes land, so findings stay close to the current state of your code. In public beta on Claude Enterprise.

We’re releasing more open models to help teams across Europe build AI with their own data, on infrastructure they control. Announced at GTC Berlin, the models help developers, researchers and enterprises build specialized AI agents, train robots, design proteins and develop quantum computers. 17 of the 211 met the criteria for a binder. They bound to dangerous toxins produced by scorpions from Mexico, North Africa, and the Middle East (but not by a species from Brazil).

Working with @citrini, we asked Claude to design proteins that bind to five scorpion toxins (covering the part of the toxin that latches onto cells). Over the next 64 hours, Claude generated over 300,000 designs; we sent 211 to @adaptyvbio and @TwistBioscience for lab testing.

New on our Science Blog: designing protein binders against scorpion neurotoxins. Scorpions sting about 1.2m people every year, and antivenoms are often costly or in short supply. Claude has made an early step toward finding new treatments. anthropic.com/research/claud…

We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit. It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion. In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding. In the post below, we share more details about our new fund. anthropic.com/news/public-be…

Demis Hassabis on choosing what’s worth spending your life building in a world changing this fast: “Going after hard problems and deep problems, it’s no more difficult in some ways than going after a shallower, simpler, more superficial problem. They’re just differently difficult.” “Given life’s very short and you only have so much time and energy, you might as well put your life force into something that will really make a difference.” “If you start off on a deep tech journey today... you’re talking about a 10-year journey for true deep tech. So now you have to consider AGI appearing in the middle of that journey.” “Imagine what that world would look like and then build something that would be useful if that comes in halfway through.”
