The U.S. spends a trillion dollars a year on formal defense.
It also has guys like this.
Danko flies a wood-and-fabric MiniMax under FAR Part 103 rules. No pilot certificate required. No medical. Just a sub-254 lb aircraft, a Kawasaki 440 snowmobile engine, and whatever else he feels like bringing along. In recent clips he’s shirtless with a handgun on his hip, low-leveling over fields and runways like it’s a normal Tuesday.
These aren’t theoretical “armed civilians.” They’re people who already own the tools, already operate outside the usual regulatory boxes, and already treat self-reliance as normal. Formal military power is real. So is a large, dispersed population that is comfortable with both flying and carrying. The combination is awkward for anyone who prefers their adversaries neatly organized and easy to target.

Arunachal Pradesh needs the Frontier Highway & dams (for hydro, pumped hydro & flood mitigation). Without transport & power there won't be any economic development. Or defence. Or tourism. Or advanced agriculture.
- Those imbeciles who blindly say no to basic development just because "aww nature" should be deprived of all modern amenities. Such entitlement should be a crime. You can't build a single shed without causing ecological problems, go live in thatched huts or caves instead of 5 star hotels under AC then. Biblical levels of hypocrisy.
- Obviously overdevelopment of fragile areas is bad. The best India can and should do is prioritize. We've built too much in some areas and nothing in others. Time to build where there's nothing currently.

In a Latin medical book printed in Venice in 1509, a physician called Sedasan keeps giving advice. "Sedasan dixit." Sedasan said....Dixit is here nit the surname but the latin for said :))
Interestingly, there was no Sedasan. It is a title that got mangled...
The book is the Siddhasara, written in Sanskrit around 650 CE by Ravigupta, son of Durgagupta. Here is how it got there.
Ibn Dahn, an Indian who ran the Barmakid hospital in Baghdad, put it into Arabic. Al-Razi, who died around 925, copied many of its passages into his huge al-Hawi.
In 1279 Faraj ben Salim, a Sicilian Jewish physician working in Naples for King Charles, translated al-Hawi into Latin.
Every copy passed the title on a little more garbled. The 1509 Venice edition has Sedasan, Sidhsar, Sadhsar, Sandasar and more than a dozen other spellings. R. E. Emmerick showed they are all one book title, not a person.
What does Sedasan say?
On page LXVII, toothache mostly comes from wind. Hold warm sesame oil in your mouth / cooked cow butter (Ghee).
Elsewhere "Sandasar" lists the signs of intestinal worms: light fevers, pale skin, a racing heart. And he tells convalescents to avoid heavy food, cold water and sleeping in the day.
The book also went the other way across Asia. Tibetan has it. Khotanese has it, 64 folios survive. Old Uighur has it too, written on the back of Chinese Buddhist scrolls at Turfan.
Interestingly, One Indian book, read for centuries in Europe as a man's name.
P.S. "Wind" here is an old medical idea of vapours inside the body, not weather. Al-Hawi is Arabic for "The Comprehensive Book". The Latin version is called Continens.

Accounts from someone on the firing line was it was a shoulder fired HE round that "Dolphined" after it left the tube and went astray. NOT artillery.
This round hit a gas well which exploded and flattened the 3 Kill Houses that were full of troops which happened to be in close proximity of the well. Approx 300 troops inside and many waiting outside them. There is nothing but splinters left of them.
This also started a major fire that was fed by high winds that swept through the main Bivouac site housing the majority of troops in the field.
The amount of injured is staggering and the fatality count IS going to climb as they recover more victims.
In my 20+ years in the Army, I have only heard of a dolphining round happening once from a shoulder fired rocket. Not sure what would cause this other than possibly a faulty propellent.

Yanbu had five to seven days of crude stocks left when the pipeline went down, repairs are expected to take far longer than a month, and late-September cargoes to Europe were cancelled an hour ago. European lifters are now hearing no Saudi cargoes until November, per initial reports.

Terror should reflect in the eyes of an arsonist. You got proofs, go to the court. You want to protest, protest without disturbing lives of people , who do not endorse your views.
Every protestor must be registered before protest starts. Non-registered protestors should not be allowed to protest.
If permission is denied , look into your past violence and reflect or be ready for state's punitive action to maintain law and order.

- SIR didn't deny my voting rights, had due reason and the process gave me adequate opportunities to get my name in the list if I wanted to.
