Hello! Thank you so much for sharing such a long and thoughtful review with me. I was really moved by it. I hope you don't mind me writing such a long reply in return. I'm using machine translation, so I apologize if some of my wording sounds a little awkward! I'm really happy that you picked up on so many of the details I had carefully planned while creating this comic. The story in Version 3.7 came as quite a shock to many people, whether in a positive way or not. A lot of people said things like, "It feels like the characters' personalities have changed," or "I don't understand the emotional distance between them." I felt something was off for the same reasons, too. Then, when I saw the fountain in An Eternal Page, I started thinking about the "disconnect between memory and the physical body." Anaxa is the kind of character who doesn't jump to conclusions unless he's certain, right? I think he can be quite bold when it comes to things that concern only himself (like reforging or destroying his own soul, where he's the only one affected), or when dealing with grand concepts (such as souls, the universe, or elements). But I've always thought that he struggles when things become two-body or three-body problems, like emotional interactions with other people. And I don't think this is limited to his relationship with Phainon, either. I think love is the one thing in the universe that has the least evidence to prove its existence. Because in the end, there's nothing we can really do except believe that it's there. That's why I thought someone as deeply thoughtful as Anaxa would need time before he could feel completely certain about it. I'm not particularly good at writing, so my thoughts might be a little all over the place, but anyway, I've always felt that the two of them are almost like "former lovers who are about to get back together" lol. (Seeing them in the 3rd anniversary event, "Cosmic Data Roaming," pretty much convinced me of that.) So I wanted to share the way I see these two with everyone.
