BREAKING: Iran has fired surface-to-air missiles at a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet over the Strait of Hormuz, while its integrated air defense network has also shot down an American MQ-9 Reaper drone over Qeshm Island, per Iranian military sources and state media.
In an official statement carried by Tasnim, Iran’s military said the Reaper was intercepted and destroyed using “advanced systems” belonging to its unified air defense network over Hormozgan province. The engagements come just days after U.S. carrier aircraft struck Iranian air-defense launchers on Qeshm Island.

Never Forget that BAFFLING MOMENT IN April 2024, Congress had an opportunity to strengthen Americans’ privacy protections by requiring warrants for certain searches of their communications collected through federal surveillance. The amendment failed in a 212 to 212 tie. Jeffries voted AGAINST it. Had he voted yes it would have passed.
Think about that. The Democratic leader had an opportunity to protect a fundamental civil liberty and chose otherwise. 🤷♀️
