ALT Rosy Cheek want to create a project called When we get there, which would focus on what the world will look like in 2030, when we were due to be reaching Net Zero. There would be a main body of the script that every theatre would perform, plus each local community would work with a writer to give their thoughts on what they hope 2030 looks like in their region. We am aiming to get as many theatres as possible involved to perform the piece on the same night, in order to make a large impact. The concept of 1000s of people across the country performing the same words and actions at the same time to each region feels important and empowering to make progress.

ALT The idea would be that there would be another performance in 2030 that reflects on how far we've come and what still needs to change. We want both pieces of work to feel positive and like a coming together against political promises that have been broken.
