Peace is finally restored in the neighborhood! The loudspeakers are quiet, proving that devotion and puja can happen peacefully without creating chaos. Huge thanks to the organizers, Bhopal Police, and local administration for stepping up, and to everyone who raised their voice.

Dear @CollectorBhopal @PriyankM_IAS Urgent intervention needed at Gaurishankar Parisar, Katara Hills! Organisers are blatantly violating noise rules past midnight daily. Dial 112 offers NO relief as volume goes right back up after police leave, showing zero fear of law.

What makes this alarming is that this is happening everyday without fail. In past years, night-time noise rules were strictly maintained in this colony. Why is this blatant disregard and administrative failure being permitted this year? @BMCBhopal

Multiple Dial 112 calls result in patrol vehicles showing up, but organizers simply turn the volume right back up the moment police depart. Permanent compliance checks are urgently needed.

Just like Gurgaon biker’s ordeal, a similar incident happened with my 20-year-old friend in Delhi. She was chased, harassed and hit by two youths on a bike. She too was on her bike heading home at night on Sept 12. Despite a complaint sent to @DelhiPolice (Hauz Khas PS) a week ago, they have not registered an FIR. She has given a description of the bike (without the registration number). There are several CCTV cameras at the accident spot at Panchsheel Park. Yet, police are yet to make efforts to identify youths.
The accident left her one side completely bruised. She is in UP recovering at a hospital in her home city . It will take her two months before she is back on her feet.

What is the use of a battery-operated car at Rani Kamlapati station if only passengers are allowed but not their luggage, even when the luggage can easily fit in the vehicle?
6/ My mother suffered at the station because of this attitude. A service meant for convenience turned into harassment because of one operator’s behaviour.
7/ I request @drmbhopal and @RailMinIndia to look into this matter seriously and take action against such rude and insensitive conduct at Rani Kamlapati station.
