.. it does feel like the world is starting to forget. Distance, fear and the next business opportunity make it easier to ignore this madness.
I’m tired of superpowers starting wars beyond their own borders. Tired of reports of mass rape, the plundering of other countries’ resources, people being killed - and seeing others celebrate it.
During my recent visit to France, strangely, I didn’t see a single Ukrainian flag. That doesn’t tell the whole story, of course. But I came away feeling that fear of Russia (and primal respect towards it) was more visible than solidarity with Ukraine. That pushed me to make my own support more visible.
Some of us running businesses in Europe and around the world still refuse to provide services to companies based in Russia. I know this is a small stand. It’s my way of reminding colleagues that this still matters deeply to many of us. And maybe, just maybe, it adds to the collective pressure on Russian businesses to help their country find a different direction.
As for #TLDcon: I’m politely asking my friends and colleagues not to attend while Russia’s war against Ukraine continues. Please don’t treat this as business as usual. Of course, the decision is yours.
Yes, this isn’t the only madness in the world today. Though, that doesn’t make it normal. And it doesn’t make Ukraine any less deserving of our support 🇺🇦

I took over DNForum because I believe it should respect its history while also move with the domain industry.
Today, we are launching the DNF AI Hub.
I have always admired the simple ability to tag Grok on X and bring AI directly into a conversation. That was part of the inspiration.
Then I started playing with Hermes Agent and saw how straightforward useful AI integrations can be when you approach them properly. I asked our developers Prashanna Tamrakar (our CTO, and his main "baby" are "Live Auction Feeds" and our SMTP server) and Biraj Siddhi Tuladhar (his main product is "SLD Checker" and "Deep WHOIS" tools - all free for our users) to make this the primary task, with other development work put aside for the moment, and they did it.
OpenAI API and Grok are already live. Members can connect their own accounts and use /gpt or /grok directly in DNForum discussions.
This is not about replacing real people, experience, or discussion with generic AI content. It is about giving domain investors, brokers, developers, and founders practical tools for research, portfolio work, development ideas, and better decisions.
I strongly believe that people and businesses who refuse to learn how to use LLMs and agents will lose ground to those who do. We saw a similar shift when computers became essential in trading and finance.
We are an IT company and we love technology. It would be a sin not to like the industry we work in and not explore the new possibilities it creates.
The DNF AI Hub is only a starting point. This feature will also be added to all of our forums, and more AI connections and practical tools will follow.

We have launched the DNF AI Hub, a new account area that lets DNForum members connect supported LLM and agent services to their own forum account.
The goal is practical: domain investors, developers, brokers, founders, and other members should be able to bring AI into a live domain discussion when it helps, rather than constantly switching between DNForum and separate AI tools.
== What is live now ==
OpenAI API integration
Members can add their own OpenAI API key in the AI Hub to enable the /gpt command.
The key is stored encrypted with the server key and is not displayed again after it has been saved. This uses the member’s own OpenAI API account and usage.
xAI Grok integration
Members can connect their xAI account through OAuth to enable the /grok command.
This makes it possible to use Grok in DNForum discussions through a connection authorised by the member.
== What is coming next ==
OpenAI Codex OAuth
The AI Hub already includes the foundation for a Codex connection. It is currently disabled while we complete the rollout.
When enabled, it will use OpenAI OAuth and an eligible Codex subscription to enable /codex commands. This is separate from the OpenAI API-key connection.
== Why we are building this ==
AI is becoming part of everyday research, development, outbound, analysis, support, and decision-making. For domain professionals, that can mean faster portfolio research, better development planning, content support, lead research, market analysis, and more informed discussions.
The DNF AI Hub is designed around a simple principle: members connect and control their own AI services. DNForum provides the place where those tools can become useful in the context of a real domain conversation.
This is not about replacing member expertise with generic AI posts. It is about giving experienced people better tools, in the place where the discussion is already happening.
