I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so.
But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.

To my American friends, from a Frenchman. From a European. Before you vote in the midterms, let me give you some perspective, because we've already lived the movie you're being sold.
The Soviet Union promised equality and delivered gulags, famine, bread lines, and a state that lied about everything. Solzhenitsyn spent his life documenting it. Tens of millions dead, and an entire people taught that truth was whatever the Party said it was. Nobody votes for that on day one. You vote for "a little more state," "a little more redistribution," "a little more control over what you can say." It's a slope, not a cliff.
France is what the middle of that slope looks like. One of the heaviest tax burdens in the developed world. Public spending around 57% of GDP. A state that touches everything and fixes nothing. Schools set on fire during riots. Insecurity so normal that people stop reporting it. Engineers, founders and doctors leaving every year for London, Dubai, Lisbon, or your country. And worst of all, a whole generation that no longer believes tomorrow can be better than today. That's what kills a country. Not one bad law. The death of hope.

You have something we don't: Elon Musk on your side. Please, listen to him. A man who voted Democrat most of his life didn't switch sides on a whim. He saw something coming. We in Europe are already living it.

The entrenched, unelected, careerist bureaucracy in our federal government is so much worse than almost everyone realizes.
I wish more conservatives understood this, because then they might stop bitching about what the Trump Admin has been able to accomplish and not accomplish.
Given what they are up against, the accomplishments of the Trump Admin over the past almost two years have been nothing short of miraculous.

Don’t let perfect be the enemy of the good.
Yes, there is voter fraud.
Yes, mail, and ballots allow for the fraud.
That is not an excuse to not vote.
In the 2024 General Election 2024, Kamala Harris received 2,245,849 votes in the presidential, while Fentanyl Ferguson received 2,143,368 votes for governor or about 102,000 fewer.
That gap indicates that a good number of voters who supported the Democratic presidential ticket either stayed home for the governor’s race, cast ballots for other candidates, or crossed over.
Given that Dave Reichert (1,709,818 votes) significantly outpolled Donald Trump (1,530,923 votes), or about 179,000 votes- the shortfall on the Democratic side is likely explained by independent voters and a portion of Democratic voters withholding support from Ferguson and/or switching over to Reichert.
On the Republican side, Reichert’s stronger showing relative to Trump suggests he was the more acceptable to a broader number of WA voters.
Republican turnout still lagged the Democratic presidential numbers by a wide margin.
Had Republican participation been higher—closer to the levels needed to close the gap between Ferguson and Reichert—Reichert would have been in a substantially stronger position to win the governorship.

BREAKING: FAKE NEWS MSNOW just spent a full segment panicking that Trump might "take over" elections, and every example was a security measure.
Here is the list they came up with… Blocking foreign monitors from the midterms, investigating voting machines, getting the 2020 Fulton County ballots, asking 30 states for voter rolls, and the SAVE Act.
Then they went all the way back to January 6th.
Think about that. Asking states for accurate voter lists and proof of citizenship is "an attack on election integrity" to them.
Their real fear is clear. They don't want anyone checking the rolls.
Voter ID, citizenship checks, and clean voter lists are what the American people actually want.
Vote like it matters, because it does.

I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it.
Step 1: Stop playing video games
Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up
Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical)
Step 4: Go clean your car
Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class
Step 6: Go to the yoga class
Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends)
Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night.
Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion.
Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper.
Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite.
Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2.
Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you.

Legislative Democrats and supporters of the state income tax are blatantly lying, as is @AGOWA Nick Brown who wrote the false PIID (public investment impact statement) for I-645 that will appear on the ballot. The tax is not scheduled to be collected until 2029, so claims about gutting essential services is a lie. VOTE YES ON I-645 TO REPEAL THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL INCOME TAX. I had a flashback this morning... Years ago we lived in the DC area when my husband was stationed at the Pentagon.
One summer my in-laws came to visit. I had acquired tickets for us all to tour the White House. I was ready to go and went downstairs where my father-in-law, a proud WWII vet and retired AF officer, was waiting dressed in a suit and tie.
"Why are you so dressed up? It's going to be really warm!"
"Because I'm going to the President's house."
That kind of respect and patriotism died with his generation.

OTOH, the so-called "diversity" you are fighting for is a form of racism and sexism where skin color and genitalia are the most important considerations in building a sub-standard fighting force, and a monolithic UN-DIVERSE acceptance of such purely political, neo-Marxist doctrines are THE prerequisite to advancement.

If I were an elected Democrat, I would have a statement out this morning along the lines of this:
"I believe that the outcomes of the 2016 and 2020 elections were fair and just. Caterwauling about those elections today serves only to undermine faith in our electoral system, but President Trump's reveal last night does in fact show that substantial potential does exist for foreign interference in our elections, and as Americans, all of us--from both parties--must step up to make sure such potential never becomes reality. It is our patriotic duty to enact suitable fixes to ensure absolute election integrity."
(Pro tip: I in fact believe the 2020 election was fraudulent on many levels, but remember this is what a DEMOCRAT would say, not me.)

I am really getting sick and tired of "moderate" Democrats (as if such a thing actually exists) shouting that the DSA is some sort of new, existential threat to their party and to America.
In reality, the DSA is the entirely logical and foreseeable outcome of the way Democrats have been pandering to the most extreme and perverse elements of our society for the past 40 years.
Logical.
Foreseeable.
Stop acting surprised. You are what you are, you get what you deserve.
I am a lifelong Democrat. I served on President Clinton’s National Security Council and in the State Department under Madeleine Albright. I am also a lifelong human rights and civil rights advocate.
But every Democrat and every American should recognize that the DSA represents a fundamental threat to our party and our country.
This is not a story about a few idealists seeking to reduce healthcare costs. It is about a small group of radical extremists pursuing a strategy to take over the Democratic Party and ultimately our country in order to impose an agenda that would devastate our economy and fundamentally dismantle our system of government.
