Still one of my favorite rock and roll lines: It's not the knife in your heart that tears you apart it's the thought of someone stickin' it in.

It's the best when they reply to something that isn't remotely what you said.

These jags want to ask me questions when I'm blocked. Does it get more cowardly?
That’s what you’re focusing on? Indicates you already know you’re wrong. She was immediately dismissed, she needs to be counseled, no punishment for her but a simple teaching moment.

Her job was to tend to the injured player but this emotional basketcase thinks her first job should have been to gently console the one person who wasn't supposed to be there.

Yes but she had zero recognition of the emotion that player was dealing with. She should have spoken to him and not pushed him out of the way. Another woman commenting on a man's sport trying to explain to men how we should act like women. GTFO.

I come to Twitter to realize I'm in the top percentile when it comes to character in men.
Men, every interaction you have with a woman that is not your mother, daughter, or wife, is a future court case. And there are even exceptions to that rule.

This was the album cover for a record that was set to be released in mid-September 2001. The art was chosen months in advance and had to be changed pretty much the day that the record was supposed to go into production, 9/11. Creepy AF. The band rules though, check them out

I don't know why anyone would need to see more than this to be convinced. There are places/districts/states where we can argue, but this is just all there is to it.
i'm a trans woman living in texas and i would love to feel that maybe there's a chance for someone who cares about us to be in office in my state

The punchline is when @Highway_30 accidentally becomes contractually obligated to undergo hormone therapy. He's that dumb.

I really need to know what local subculture is defined by nylon vests over button down shirts.

Adam Corolla was never funny
What’s eating him? I don’t think we’ve ever met or spoken. Years ago he was a pretty funny guy, seemed good humored? What gets into people?

Jewish people so eager to ostracize other Jewish people will end very badly for all Jewish people.

You’re not Jewish. There is no genocide.

If members of the American Jewish community care about Israel why are they letting its reputation be stained by the countless and incessant atrocities being committed by that government? What is keeping you from fighting for Israel to represent your values?

Twitter found out that I am watching Carolina in the NHL playoffs and it knows I hate constant referee related whining so what do you think my TL is filled with today?

My childhood church low-key forced out a mixed race couple.
I grew up in the Church of Christ religion while living in an all white, low income neighborhood. Old white men in suits would stand outside the church building before the service, smoking cigarettes and telling racist jokes, using the N-word frequently. These are the Christians I had as role models. Before I became agnostic, I studied the New Testament from cover to cover. I thought I knew what true Christianity meant and I tried to live my life following in the footsteps of Jesus. I tried my best to avoid racist and evil people. It was impossible to do this in Texas. Even a simple trip to the local grocer would result in hearing people act stupid. It's a long story as to why I'm now agnostic. But my actual point to the story is that I believe I understand the concept of Christianity as much as anyone. And I'm sorry, but I try to avoid extremely religious people. Let them believe what they want to believe as long as they act decent while in the world. I just don't want to listen to them tell me "The Good News." And I tell you that so that I can tell you this… James Talarico is a very religious man who could help the state of Texas become better in many, many ways. And he can do it without preaching to you. I am so tired of evil, racist white men who are criminals with no morals. No matter what I personally believe, I'll take a God-fearing or Jesus-loving man in office any day.

My relationship with fast food as a kid was so rooted in reward/incentive that as an adult it has become a sort of dependency. I'm getting BK, fuck it, I deserve it. I work hard.
