We are devastated by the news of another terrible tragedy for our LGBTQ+ community just down the road from our CivicPRIDE board members in CO. Our thoughts are with Colorado Springs, Club Q, and our LGBTQ+ family. The work for peace and inclusion remains our most important work.
It’s my hardest to spell #cityhallselfie yet! Can’t take the local government nerd out of the girl even during a quick stop in ReykjavÃk on an Icelandic vacation 🤓
We’ve come a long way 🌈 🎉
This just in! For the first time CivicPRIDE has a presence on THE ribbon wall. When you check-in at #ICMA2022 we encourage you to make your support visible.
Spoiler alert: it’s me! I believe this will be @CivicPrideLGBT’s best ICMA conference yet. Can’t wait to connect!
The first of our board members has arrived at #ICMA2022 in Columbus! We hope to see you soon— don’t forget to pick up a CivicPRIDE badge ribbon at registration and come see us For Monday evening’s reception and Tuesday’s educational session.

"There is always a way to get into the room. Sometimes it is knocking down the door and sometimes it is building the room yourself." Sara Hancock, Stories of Pride speaker and CivicPRIDE board member inspires us to use whatever influence we have to make change.
Is it Christmas? My household was randomly selected to complete the @cityoflongmont 2022 community survey. A true dream for this local government geek who has administered them for the cities I served in the past.

Me: Do you want to hear what @heypamdavis and I wrote for the nomination?
J: No, I already know @colo_chautauqua is cool. #elglknope @ELGL50

Fresh from their retreat, the CivicPRIDE board wants to engage with LGBTQ+ professionals and their allies to shape the future of their work and reimagine how to create a more inclusive profession together. Join us at ICMA October 4 from 4-6 p.m. (PT) ow.ly/4cSw50Ga37e
The only thing better than a triple rainbow following me to see @brandicarlile @RedRocksCO is seeing the show itself. Absolutely brilliant.

By far my favorite #cityhallselfie of all time-- and that is saying something! I am proud to now have the opportunity to walk under the name of Penfield Tate II whenever I arrive to work. His legacy has and will continue to make Boulder better for all people.
Happy #CityHallSelfie Day from the celebration of the renaming of the Penfield Tate II Municipal Building. We love our incredible community and are so honored to serve you. @ELGL50
