BTC is facing a major trial.
The market is currently plagued by extreme volatility due to "liquidation hunting" in the massive derivatives space. Furthermore, BTC is being treated as a high-beta software play, showing a strong correlation with the IGV (SaaS ETF). Being pegged to the IGV means BTC is now at the mercy of corporate earnings reports.
Earnings are essentially stochastic events—random variables that make post-announcement price action unpredictable for anyone. Overextending in this environment is a recipe for disaster.
Going long on BTC right now is effectively a bet on either a decoupling from the IGV or a bottoming out of the SaaS sector. While the derivatives tail is wagging the spot dog, there is no reason to borrow money to enter into contracts to sell in the future. Leverage is a luxury the current market cannot afford.
Until we see another 20-30% flush out in Open Interest (OI) and the IGV finds a solid floor, price action will remain violent. There is no need to overtrade until derivatives settle, OI contracts, the software rout stabilizes, and BTC returns to its macro-driven roots.

@Curvance is very nice!
I looped Mon separately on both Curvance and Neverland today to take leveraged long positions. That said, the leverage is pretty safe, and it just feels good to be active on-chain again.
