haven’t been on the tl in months, finally back. remembering that twitter can be enjoyable if you just block and mute anything having to do with fearmongering disaster porn politics. this is a solid 8/10 start to the day

this should be an indication that thomas, the most radically conservative/originalist justice in at least the past 100 years, is not supported (either in signing onto the concurrence or in the concurring opinion’s citations) by current OR past justices.

while i still think people should use this concurrence as fuel to protect penumbrally protected privacy rights (gay marriage, birth control, abortion, etc.), it is important to know that it’s currently just the legal rantings of one clown SCOTUS justice who assaulted anita hill
nickelback is the only music that sounds good while driving a hummer, from my experience

i have mixed feelings about the promotion/relegation system between f1 and the tour de france. they don’t talk about him much on the broadcast, but if you watch an f1 race closely you’ll usually see one guy on a bicycle. and let me tell you, it is a hard life for that guy
