One thing Nigeria teaches you very quickly is that personal discipline cannot always compensate for institutional dysfunction. You can make all the right decisions and still suffer the consequences of systems you have absolutely no control over.

Misogyny is such a fascinating exercise in illogical reasoning.
A male pilot jumps to his death, and a female student pilot successfully lands a plane in an emergency. Nobody questions whether men should be allowed to fly.
But let a woman who wasn’t even piloting scream in an emergency, and suddenly she’s evidence that women shouldn’t be pilots.
A man’s failure is an individual tragedy. A woman’s fear becomes an indictment of her entire gender.

Tinubu is in Saudi Arabia praying but his government has directly or indirectly killed over 18,000 Muslims in 3 years.
Prayer cannot fix heartlessness. Leave Nigerians alone.

Saraba Magazine (@Sarabamag) is pleased to announce that Shammah Godoz (@shaanigami) has been awarded the inaugural Saraba Editorial Fellowship for 2026/2027.
This is a one-year fellowship offered to a promising contributor who has been published in our magazine and has attended one of the Saraba Manuscript Project editorial training sessions. As an editorial fellow, Shammah will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the magazine, which include reading submissions and selecting work for the magazine, copyediting and proofreading, as well as contributing to the initiatives we shall be introducing during the fellowship year. The fellow will also receive editorial training, mentorship and the support they need to build their editorial skills, one of which would include free access to all our editorial workshops run under the Saraba Manuscript Project.
Shammah Godoz: “It is a dream come true. To receive editorial training from an institution as revered as the Saraba Magazine and that a literary magazine on the continent is what gives this instruction to me. It is also a giant step for everyone involved. I hope to gain on all the skills, the know-hows behind running a literary magazine, the deeper level experience behind the literature on the continent, but most importantly, I hope to learn more ways in which our literary infrastructure can be built and strengthened on the African continent.”
This fellowship forms part of Saraba’s renewed publishing programme following the magazine’s revival, with new work, editorial projects and opportunities for writers and editors to be announced in the coming months.
About Shammah Godoz
Shammah Godoz is a creative writer and fiction editor. He currently runs The Leopard House Collective, The Book Replay, serves as the producer and host for COAL’s Between The Lines Series, as well as the Khard and Kulture podcast, which focuses on exploring literature from the African continent and beyond. Shammah is also a Lolwe Fiction Workshop alumnus. He has worked across marketing, communications, design and film and finds a lot of peace in cooking and putting brush to canvas.

They said African languages were too fragmented, too complex and too commercially insignificant to build advanced AI for.
We disagreed. So we built it.
64 languages. 166 voices. 3 billion parameters. ONE model.
Today, we are unveiling STORM-Ensemble 3.0, the most capable multilingual speech synthesis model we have built at PlotWeaver.
From Yorùbá, Igbo, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin to Swahili, Amharic, Wolof, Zulu, Xhosa and dozens more, STORM-Ensemble 3.0 generates speech across 64 languages, with 166 distinct speaker voices.
Every voice you hear is generated by our model, not a prerecorded sample.
But the real breakthrough isn't the numbers.
It's what becomes possible when this technology is in the hands of people who can build with it.
-African filmmakers distributing stories across languages.
-Banks and telcos serving customers in their mother tongues.
-Education platforms reaching more children.
-Developers building voice AI products without starting from scratch.
We are not building AI for African languages simply to prove it can be done. We are building the infrastructure to make our languages commercially viable at global scale.
Next week, I will be speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Antigua about unlocking the Commonwealth's creative potential. This launch is a practical demonstration of that ambition.
Africa must not simply consume the future of AI. We must build, own and shape the infrastructure that powers it.
Watch the video. Listen to the voices. Imagine what's possible.
Introducing STORM-Ensemble 3.0.
PlotWeaver. Build Once. Speak Every Language.

Day 1 Answers🧠:
1. A - insidious & progressive forgetfulness with recent memory loss (hence the repeated questions). This is majorly seen in Alzheimer’s as the major symptom. Bilateral hippocampal atrophy on imaging clinched the diagnosis to be AD.
2. B - Dementia with Lewy Bodies has the following = flunctuation in cognition + hallucinations + parkinsonian features (the rigidity seen here) + REM sleep behavioral disorders (hence the acting out during sleep)
3. C - Frontotemporal dementia presents with these features (knowing that the frontal & temporal lobes are involved in these). This is also called PICKS DISEASE.
any questions/clarifications?

See what happens when you don't listen to miserable anti-woke clowns who bitch and whine about everything and just enjoy the show? Glad Seven Havens is doing well.
‘AVATAR: SEVEN HAVENS’ is the #2 most watched series on Paramount+ worldwide today.
What were your thoughts on the Season 1?
