🚨 Urgent: The Government has been ending vital local suicide prevention funding across England. This decision completely undermines their promise to deliver the suicide prevention strategy that we desperately need. 1/4

That’s more than one patient suffering needlessly every day, on average. A never event is a serious, preventable incident which happens under NHS care. Last year, the most common was a wrong site surgery, such as operating on the wrong limb.

It’s been a busy International Nurses Day here at RJAH! Chief Nurse @PKavanaghFields, and his senior nursing team, went out across the organisation, talking to some of our nurses & delivering a meal voucher and a cake as a small token of appreciation 👏 #InternationalNursesDay

I'm very grateful to @APIL for giving me an opportunity to write about bereavement damages, which is in dire need of reform. Please do share - raising awareness of this is key in our campaign towards greater justice for bereaved families.
The system for bereavement damages "ignores most grieving relatives, leaving them to question whether the legal system really cares about negligent deaths at all." New blog from APIL accredited member Michael Roberts buff.ly/3NT5QTi #fairness4families

Great blog from @APIL #RebuildingShatteredLives campaign
"In its obsession with preventing injured people from receiving too much compensation, the Government has only succeeded in making life more difficult for vulnerable people." Read our latest blog for the #RebuildingShatteredLives campaign buff.ly/3AHtyKJ
