the CEX security incident this week has brought up a question every crypto user should think about: who actually controls your coins? an issue involving Ethereum's EIP-7702 has put user funds at risk and once again, people are talking about the importance of keeping control of their assets this is something worth remembering when using a blockchain like @injective when you hold your $INJ in your own wallet, you control your keys your funds are not sitting in an exchange's custody system, waiting its withdrawals to work or its security team to fix a problem and that's an important difference an exchange can run into trouble, but that doesn't automatically mean the blockchain itself has stopped working of course, self-custody comes with its own responsibility: you have to protect your keys but that's the point, you have control over your assets instead of handing that control to someone else sometimes, the value of a network becomes clearer when you remember why having control of your own money matters.
