TABC Boys Showcase By Paul Garwood | Elite Hoops Spotlight Junah Roberts Friendship Memorial Christian School (TX) | Class of 2028 | 6'0" PG/SG | 3.0 GPA As one of the youngest prospects to compete in Duncanville, Junah Roberts has already built a résumé that demands attention. A varsity contributor since his freshman season, Roberts has earned First Team All-District, Second Team All-City, and Super Sophomore Team honors, proving he can thrive against older, more experienced competition. Roberts' greatest strength is his perimeter shooting. He possesses a fundamentally sound shooting stroke built on balance, consistent footwork, and a compact, repeatable release. His ability to shoot confidently off the catch, relocate without the basketball, and capitalize on defensive breakdowns makes him one of the more dangerous perimeter threats in the 2028 class. What separates Roberts from many young scorers is his maturity. He doesn't force difficult shots or dominate possessions unnecessarily. Instead, he plays within the offense, understands spacing, and patiently waits for high-quality scoring opportunities. That disciplined approach reflects a high basketball IQ and allows him to impact the game efficiently. His production illustrates a complete skill set. Roberts averaged 10.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, showing he contributes well beyond scoring. He rebounds his position, creates opportunities for teammates, and competes with consistent energy on the defensive end. For college coaches, Roberts represents the type of young prospect whose foundation is already in place. His shooting ability is a translatable skill, while his decision-making, feel for the game, and varsity experience provide significant long-term upside as he continues to develop physically. @junahroberts @NXTLevelSN
