Introducing tiny.london
A massive isometric pixel map of London, based on amazing NYC demo by @_coenen from 9 months ago
My agent created the dataset, finetuned qwen image LoRA adapter, did a multiday inference run and built an efficient tile viewer!
I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents.
I didn't write a single line of code.

Just realized people haven’t been using sparkle icon for AI anymore. That’s progress if we’re assuming all things have AI behind the curtain. But kudos to whoever came up with that icon in the first place - bc boy, it was a fever

Listened to the Walt Disney Company @AcquiredFM episode and, not surprisingly, it's so so good.
It did miss my favorite Walt Disney fun fact though. As a skier, my favorite contribution from Walt is the rating system for ski trails that we all know - green circle, blue square, black diamond. He invented it after being on the board of the 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics, and when he died he was working on a Disney ski resort where Sequoia National Park is now, called Mineral King (imagine if...)
The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) adopted Disney's system in 1968 because, guess what, Disney had a lot of practice with crowd control.

No one:
Claude Opus 4.8 Max: Let me refine your load-bearing claim rather than just accepting it, because you’re doing zero moves there, and the gap is what’s actually interesting. The one place I’d still push, because I think it matters: your message is wearing content-clothes, but the content isn’t actually *there*. The tell: it’s just an empty string. But the emptiness of the string IS its lack of content. Pull one, and the other goes inert. That’s the structural spine.

“Some people would end up getting lost in the sets.”
That is actually wild as fuck.
Kane Parsons says they created 30,000 square feet of liminal spaces for the ‘BACKROOMS’ movie.
Some people would end up getting lost in the sets.

Imagine every pixel on your screen, streamed live directly from a model. No HTML, no layout engine, no code. Just exactly what you want to see.
@eddiejiao_obj, @drewocarr and I built a prototype to see how this could actually work, and set out to make it real. We're calling it Flipbook. (1/5)
this is excellent
>GitLab founder diagnosed with rare cancer (osteosarcoma)
>standard care works but cancer comes back later
>medical team says there's not much else to do
>"It became my own job to keep myself alive. Nobody else was going to do it for me at this point"
>starts researching, assembles his own medical team, uses AI for deep research
>“I’ll talk to anyone, I’ll go anywhere, and I can be there anytime" to collect information
>does as many diagnostic tests as he can find as often as he can (maximal diagnostics)
>develops his own therapeutic ladder with repurposed drugs, personalized medicine, etc
>Sid’s cancer currently in remission
Replying to @SebastianCaliri

Congrats to perplexity for being the first to (almost) ship this. Unfortunately this is going to be the only type of product anyone releases for the next six months
