The trial of Helenium @RHSHarlowCarr is reaching full flower & will look superb in a week or two. It's a great chance to see these under-used plants together because there's a huge range.

Here’s a great passionflower for the impatient gardener, #passiflora incanata. This one is flowering 6 months after sowing. It is hardy if kept dry, produces edible fruit, readily crosses with other passionflowers &freely produces pretty scented flowers. What more could you want?
