You would be hard pressed to find a more pointless holiday. The Irish must still do whatever the Queen orders as they are part of the UK, consisting of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Whales. And she’s currently missing and getting photoshopped into photos with her kids, so who knows who’s in charge anymore?

The problem with this is it’s the opposite of how to grow the sport. Prevent celebration, take away team points, and cause the other team to win. Basketball team makes a shot at the buzzer, kids storm court, ref takes away points and other team wins?? No, because it makes no logical sense. Yet here we are…again. – at Clovis, CA
