I do actually believe this. People starting realizing they could ask more from their elected officials and expect it. He truly brewed hope amongst the working class.
The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani. Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response. Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind. Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.

Not to bring down the mood but we still have a shit storm coming when the worst of the Big Beautiful Bill kicks in next year. Please don’t play stupid and blame the Democrats when it happens.

As Black people have been trying to tell them for DECADES. Mississippi is winnable. Alabama is winnable. Louisiana is winnable. ..but not without investment and not without Black outreach and advisors.
Democrats should make serious investments in the South going forward.

Don’t get me wrong I’m extremely happy tonight. But I’m gonna be really pissed off if Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries lead the House and Senate. Their ancient tactics aren’t ready to meet today’s moment.

you realize if the CA billionaires (&losers who think theyre gonna be billionaires) successfully prevent prop 40 from passing & manage to get 42 passed so that no tax on their obscene wealth will ever make it on the ballot again there's only one way left to deal with them, right?

Democrats will now control the House and Senate and be able to hold Trump accountable. That's great. At a time of massive income and wealth inequality, we must do more. We must aggressively fight for working families. No more excuses.
