A thread 🧵
Lately you see a lot of 'creators' claim so and so places in Hyderabad are supposedly 'haunted'. Most of these "haunted spots" are old heritage structures now in disrepair and disuse.
Iqbal Cafe is a local favourite and one of the best places to get a good #Hyderabadi #breakfast. We love their talawa gosht (beef fry) with puris and chai. Part of our breakfast walks 🥘

While exploring the Paigah tombs with @DeccanArchive , we had a chance to look closely at two different tombs that are adorned with colourful marble inlay work. This is the tomb of Kursheed Jah.
Some of the semiprecious stones have been gouged out and stolen over the years, but whatever remains gives us a good idea of the beauty of the tomb.
Every weekend in Hyderabad, @SibghatK and @Navin bring you heritage walks, workshops and experiences. Keep in touch with us and join us on our future heritage adventures. Find out about upcoming events on our website at hyd.pw/tda
