Sumit Gupta hoping there's no bank run on CoinDCX
tldr of things happened with @CoinDCX In last 4 days
~ got hacked for 16M$ and didn’t even said a single ( complete silence )
~ ZachXBT and one another investigtor alarmed everyone on CT
~ puppet CEO came and called it rumours and says no wallets affected
~ I checked POR and victims address
~ 2 of their new wallets also got hacked, along with old one
~ CoinDCX published an AI slop and said it “operation losses” ( no amount mentioned )
~ they quickly deleted the new exploited wallets from POR ( which got hacked )
~ came after 3 days and admitted $16M losses ( new wallets still not admitted )
~ made $170k in profits last year but reimbursing $16M
~ one day later, data leaked and users got phishing emails
~ so called “decentralised wallet @okto_web3 ” also sending phishing notifications
~ clown CEO goes to vipasna 😭
crazy things happening with CoinDCX, and we are supposed to show sympathy ?
at this point, what’s in control of team ? I’m so confused lol

ANOTHER RED FLAG IN @CoinDCX'S SO CALLED "SWEEP FAILURE" AND ILLICIT ~16M USDT TRANSFER 🚨
Onchain data shows nearly the entire ~15.82m USDT, drained from the dcx’s deprecated TQKJQ address, arrived in 88 transfers from a single wallet (TSC5MzYDNqtp3HDpqCNpTAs5pnT7wt4Hrd) between late January and March 2025.
Many of them were in the hundreds of thousands of USDT (which clearly shows its not user deposits; and no users should be dumb enough to send such large amount to deprecated wallet). (see image 1)
Coindcx says the balance built up because some users kept depositing to old addresses while an internal sweep failed, with the issue only spotted on Oct 22. That explanation is hard to square with 88 large transfers from one source. These concentrated inflows from TSC5M raise further questions about who was sending the funds and why.
One more thing; users don’t pick deposit addresses themselves; the exchange shows them in the app. A professional counterparty continuing bulk sends to a known compromised address also sits uneasily with normal practice.
Also, it was not only one wallet from usdt were sent; its a cluster of wallets which all belongs to Coindcx. So technically, its more than 16m usdt that were stolen from the exchange (see image 3)
Now coindcx first called the activity a false alarm, then admitted operational losses that it says it absorbed and credited to users without public detail on how many users were affected, the exact failure window, or independent verification of the credits.
Questions that remain unanswered:
1. who controls TSC5M? an undisclosed LP or the exchange itself?
2. the loss will be absorbed (which is 160 CRORE in INR bdw) but who is really paying it off? i dont think the exchange has balance in sheet to cover it.
3. If it really was deposit address (TQKJQ) and users were transferring unknowingly, why all the deposits suddenly stopped after the incident?
4. Why did the exchange removed wallets from its proof-of-reserve? (which is also hosted on third party website; who knows why)
@CoinDCX @smtgpt you can be fully transparent to actually ensure funds are safe unless ITS NOT! just stop lying.
I WOULD RECOMEND EVERY COINDCX USERS TO WITHDRAW FUNDS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE; UNTIL CLEAR UPDATES FROM THE TEAM!
Track:
TSC5M (LP??) - arkm.com/explorer/address/TS…
TQKJQ (dcx's claimed deprecated deposit wallet) - arkm.com/explorer/address/TQ…
TAg6S (where usdt were sent) -
arkm.com/explorer/address/TA…

this is true for most
that is why most cant be successful businessmen, or marketing folks, or founders, or journalists, or engineers
focus on your passion, work towards it, refine your skills, growww
lol
CoinDCX has NOT absorbed the $16m loss in the company's books
they have never made profits over the years, there's not 1 full year where they made money
with investor funds burning, it's the users who will lose their hard earned savings
withdraw all before it is too late
CoinDCX finally admitted the $16M loss
But the crazy part is it took them 3 days to admit it. On day 1, the CEO called it a rumour and said none of their addresses were affected.
Kinda funny how they think the community is fool and they can fool us this easily
I'll say it again, withdraw every single penny from these shady, low-tier exchanges.
Don't wait, if you love your money
focus for the next 1 year
> silver

october hasnt been a great month for my public vaults on hl and lighter, so i decided to take a break
focused on journaling, figuring out what went wrong, and making more robust systems
i expect more uncontrollable volatility in the coming days and i'm gonna keep more cash idle for a while
the comeback needs to be stronger and well timed

funny how a CEX got hacked for $44m and its stolen funds are being routed to Binance, OKX, and other big exchanges and these CEXs still cannot coordinate between each other to stop this flow and catch the culprits
Thanks for highlighting but this is incorrect and CoinDCX wallets are not breached. Pls don't spread rumours.
The addresses tagged by Arkham used to belong to CoinDCX before the last year hack ie July 2025. These addresses were generated in Jan 2025 and were compromised in the previous hack in July 2025. The hackers seem to be re-using the old wallet addresses and this sounds like a false alarm. We have checked all the present CoinDCX central and user addresses. None of them have sent money to these old addresses.
All the CoinDCX addresses are public and can be seen on our POR link. None of these have sent funds to the above addresses in question and none of the CoinDCX funds got compromised.
Will keep you posted if any new info comes to us as the team is investigating it further. More details to follow from the official CoinDCX handles soon.

not anti-Variational at all, but the RFQ model has a real flaw: fills are all-or-nothing
price can trade right through your limit and you still get nothing if no MM wants your full size at your price
partial fills > API launch imo. traders need to trust their orders will actually fill
xitter.cf/VictorTopDefiG/status/…
the fact that @variational_lvs keeps saying they expect pro to eventually be a bigger business than omni.
i mean they already built the biggest rfq perp dex and they are openly telling you the next product is bigger.
~$850T in otc derivatives notional vs ~$100B in btc derivatives OI. different measures, but that's the scale they're going after
doesn't that just turn you on 😮💨
omni for retail, pro for institutions.
viva la var
the fact that @tradexyz never grabbed a ticker for PAPER says a lot
ticker auctions are the boring first step any team takes once a transferable token is actually on the roadmap. skipping it isn’t an accident
when a ticker isn’t bought yet, it’s usually one of two things:
> the market itself isn’t ready (no MM willing to quote it, think niche stuff like indian equities)
> it’s simply too early and transfers are still an open question
PAPER is clearly the second
PM retweeted
I think both of these teams have built good products but unfortunately the same result here.
Note this isn't really any apps particular fault, just a stark reality of how hard trading can be and how the average user ends up losing over time.
Legend's is a newer builder and think they have done a good job of onboarding people with no prior HL activity (ie. normies) so it makes sense their all time PNL is less than others.
the @arcxtrade team keeps innovating!
watch out!
feeling sorry for those thinking of running dn positions to acquire PAPER at $0.016
you can only short on paper to make money or paper
saved ~$6k so far trading on Variational
