Hypernomicon has recently received one of its largest ever feature enhancements: the ability to instantly search the full text of all files in your database (PDF, office documents, etc.), not just the database records themselves.

Full-text search hits are also highlighted in the file itself in the Preview Window. You can not only see a list of phrases matching the search in the Queries tab, but see the matches in context in the PDF (or other format) file itself and navigate between different hits easily.

In other news, Hypernomicon now runs natively on Apple Silicon. While Hypernomicon was previously compatible with Mac computers, Hypernomicon now runs blazingly fast on Apple Silicon processors rather than needing Rosetta 2 emulation.

Version 1.17 has now been released, and with it, importing PDF files has been vastly improved, making importing an existing collection of PDFs that is already being managed by a bibliography manager (like Zotero) much easier.
