Imagine if Iran bombed and destroying the Golden Gate Bridge in California. What would you call the act? The USA-Israel the “aggressors”bombed and destroyed Iran's tallest bridge, the B1 Bridge. This will only unify the Iranian people against Israel and the United States. This is not what Trump ran on and this is not what we voted for…

Donald Trump votes by mail. But this week, he signed an Executive Order so you can’t. Why? Because he is scared of your power, and he is scared of losing the midterms.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Iran: Today more than ever, it is essential to remember that one can be against a hateful regime, as is the case with the Iranian regime, as is the whole of Spanish society, and at the same time be against an unjustified, dangerous military intervention outside of international law. That one must be against a war initiated without the authorization of the United States Congress or the United Nations Security Council and, as I have said before, one that violates international law. And that there is always room for a negotiated solution, instead of being dragged along by the devastation of arms as the only possible way out. Therefore, I would like once again, as we have done since the beginning, to appeal for immediate de-escalation, for full respect for international law in all the conflicts we are unfortunately suffering, and for the urgency of resuming dialogue as soon as possible. That is where Spain will be, and that is where I believe the whole of the European Union should be.

Norwegian NASAMS systems helped us a lot. I will not share the exact number of NASAMS we have, but it is more than ten and we are still getting them. We have also received missiles for NASAMS made by Norway. However, even domestic Norwegian stocks weren’t enough. And then Norway worked with other countries at the political level to provide us with some additional missiles. This was very important. In parallel, we were working on joint production and IRIS-T systems. And then it was like a rising wave: when one country stepped up, other real allies, like Norway, followed. That was very good. This winter, Norway also helped us with gas which we needed after Russian attacks on our energy sector, including gas infrastructure. And the people of Norway support these decisions. All parties in Parliament support them as well. Thank you. All countries have their own internal politics, but the unity in the Norwegian Parliament on Ukraine is crucial and we appreciate it. All of these things, as well as the work on drones that we started and the fact that Norway is second-largest contributor to PURL, are deeply valued in Ukraine. From an interview with NRK News (1/2)

One of the biggest presidential campaign deceptions in modern US history: President Trump in 2020: "We've spent $8 trillion in the Middle East and we're not fixing our roads in this country? How stupid. How stupid is it? And we're not fixing our tunnels, our bridges, our hospitals, our schools? It's crazy."

Another very weird statement from the USA government regarding Greenland. A lot of places can be important to neighbouring countries. Finland is important to the security of Sweden. Poland is important to the security of Germany. That does not give Sweden a right to get anything from Finland or Germany a right to get something from Poland. The USA has zero rights to Greenland. None whatsoever. Denmark allows the USA to have a base there. (They can have more if they want). That base does nothing for Denmark or Greenland. Literally nothing. It only protects the USA from potential missiles flying from Russia over the North Pole towards the USA. It does not protect Greenland and it does not protect Denmark in any way at all. The USA does not protect Greenland in any other way than the protection in the NATO treaty that applies to all NATO countries. They do nothing special in Greenland on a daily basis. Denmark and Greenland, therefore, does not owe the USA anything in Greenland. It is the other way around. The USA owes Denmark and Greenland because we allow the USA to have the base. Getting this twisted around to sound like USA ought to get something from Greenland and Denmark because they are allowed to have a base in Greenland makes absolutely no sense, and these embarrassing and hostile statements from the USA government have to stop.
.@VP: It's just very simple: Greenland is very important to the national security of the United States of America... If we're going to be on the hook for protecting this massive land mass, I think it's only reasonable for the United States to get some benefit out of that.

"Let me ask you tonight, do you think Donald Trump is a fascist?" @KamalaHarris: "Yes, I do. [There] is a legitimate fear based on Donald Trump's words and actions that he will not obey an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States." October 23, 2024.
"Recent events have brought Trump’s governing style into sharper focus," Jonathan Rauch argues. "'Fascist' best describes it, and reluctance to use the term has now become perverse." theatln.tc/8zCLlHtJ
